Sometimes, you just gotta wonder...

What in the **** some people were thinking.

Did a systems check before this weekend's trip on the camper. No exterior 12v lights. None.

Check connections/wiring: good to go.
Crawl under the camper to check the ground: good to go.
12v continuity check: good to go.
Pull the lenses on all the lights: Every one of them was corroded into their sockets. Every one of them was 25+ years old. Every one of them was blown.

The right rear brake light lens was siliconed into place.

:rage

A wire brush, a trip to O'rielly, and a couple of hours... There are now lights.

The adventure has begun...

Oh, absolutely.

Did I mention that all of these lights are add-on's? Meaning that the PO's intentionally poked holes in the watertight roof when there was a handy steel bumper right there...
