So I pulled the 8track out and theres 4 wires. Black (ground) red (12v) blue (left) and grey or green (right) I think im gonna leave the factory in and run a self made harness to a cupboard for the speakers and put the stereo in a door on the cupboard. My next question is, ill do speaker wires off my harness and then can I run the power and ground off of the light under the cupboard?

Check the power needs of the radio and how many other lights might be on the same fuse. You don't want to exceed the limits of the wires. Don't just put a larger fuse in the circuit.

I definitely wont add a larger fuse. I was thinking about tapping into the converter but i dont wanna mess with the factory wiring.
