CC it's outrageous to fill at that filling station you went to. Shop around, you'll find prices vary widely. Also download and copy the regs for propane tanks as opposed to cylinders. Many people won't want to fill a tank because they're going by the regulations for cylinders and you'll have to educate them. Also in my case my tank was pretty rusty so I took it off and had it sandblasted and I repainted it (it now looks brand new!) simply to stave off future filling issues.

Thanks, we'll definitely shop around before our next fill up. Once we get the bus finished, we're moving to Washington state. Once we purchase a piece of property, the bus will be parked there as a home. We've got 2-25 gallon tanks that we can transport and fill once the RV isn't as mobile.

We got the water heater cleaned and burning right. Working on the furnace still. Lots of smaller spaces to get in. Moved all my kitchen stuff in and started moving our clothes. Won't be long before we're moving in!

First night in the RV was a success. Only issue, too quiet! On a different note, what caus s your washer to backup into your bathtub? Just a clog? Was washing clothes, first load, no problem, second load the same. After the third load, went to the restroom and there's a good inch of yuck on the tub wall. It's obvious that it came from the washer, full of lint. Snake the line like a normal pipe?

grey water full?

When our grey water gets full, the tub/shower is the first place you notice it.

Also, could be a clogged vent somehwere producing back pressure in the tub drain.

-cheers

Yep, it was grey water. I guess that washer isn't so compact after all. I can't find the gallons per wash for my particular model. But average compact top loaders use 8.75 gallons a load. Is that per fill, like wash and rinse would mean 17.5 gallons per load? So confused! I know I washed 3 loads and emptied the 100 gallon fresh water tank. I had it on pressure system this time, did 3 loads and filled the tank. Oh well, I'll get used to it.

Update on the flooring. The Allen + Roth flooring was super easy to use! Neither my husband nor I had ever done click lock flooring. Watch tons, I mean TONS of DIY home improvement type shows, have all basic skills needed, so we went for it. Easy to cut, not fragile or flimsy, and it goes together just as easily as the experts make it look. The seams are tight and flat, no corners kicking up or gaps between planks. We bounced our small microwave oven off the counter onto the floor going down the road. NO SCUFF on the floor, corner of the microwave bent to heck! Downside: dog toenails, lack of traction for older and bigger dogs, and I wouldn't recommend running around in socks, very slick finish. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars! We'll put in a few carpet runners to help with traction and toenails.

We've noticed something else odd. After realizing the grey water was full, also found the fresh water tank slam full after we put water to the city pressure inlet. Is that supposed to happen? We'd filled it a few days before and used about 3inches out. Now we've got water everywhere. We know the shutoff valve is bad where you drain it. But that just lets it leak, correct? Is there another valve that could be back flowing into the tank from the pressure side?
