Strange duck 1986 HR Imperial limited presidential edition
How many people have heard of a 1986 HR Imperial Limited Presidential Edition 38 foot with a 427 CDI GASOLINE pusher? I'm finding out it may be quite the odd duck. This girl came fully loaded in her day and listed for a cool 150k! 30 years and 50k miles later, she still looks great.

If it's a pusher, it'd look more like this, right?
Only ones I can find are diesel, so far....

I too love odd ducks so please post pictures! I thought the Presedential was a separate series from the Imperial series, with the Imperial being a higher level but I could be wrong.

Presidential or not it's still a fine looking unit.

I was told by the second owner that it was an Imperial Limited Presidential Edition. Doing research and after finding handy dandy owners manuals I can say it's an Imperial Limited. It's 38 foot, has the gas engine, built in everything, and it's going to take 6 months to read all those manuals! Lol

Very interesting. I'm intrigued by your rig. I see you live in Northern La., and we live in Mandeville. If you ever come down this way, stay at Fairview State Park, a great small park located on the Tchefuncte River, (it's only about 3 mi. from our house) and give us a call...... 985 264 8131, we'ed love to see it. Also, you're just a causeway away from the Big Easy.

She sure is! We were truly blessed to find her. The husband and I are moving from Louisiana to Washington state the end of February. We were looking for a smaller, class c, to live in until we get the house finished. Lucked up on her for a mere $4600! The only problems we've found are minor air leaks, the antenna area leaks, causing water damage to almost the entire ceiling, but it's mostly the very first layer inside. We're dropping the pop down bed area all the way to the bar. Some of the very front needs new insulation and all due to the water. The pop down bed is toast. It was drenched and even the wood frame has rotted. There's no water inside the RV though. It was parked on a slope for 6 years, allowing it to drain out. She'll take a little work, but when you find a 30 year old RV with all of the original equipment and only 56k miles, you restore!
