E10 Ethanol: Recommended engine precautions


Here read about ethanol and beware of labels on the pumps if your state has them.

OK, they started using ethanol in 2004 in Calif. I parked the RV in the end of 2002, begining of 2003.

Well, more accurately, they started having the pump operators actually list that they were selling ethanoled gas, but given that E-10 was the replacement for the previous MBTE that California had in their gas prior to 2003, either way, Cali gas = Bad on metal gas tanks.
