Tank sizes 84 Rallye 26'?

Hi Everyone...

Just wondering if anyone would have an idea of the waste /water /fuel tank sizes for my little beastie...

No info in the manual... Can't find anything online... I was told that all the tanks are 40 gal, however, I don't believe that to be true. Just in general, the black tank is bigger than the gray (even though the black is gray and gray is black)

The only thing that might be a solid 40 is the fuel tank, but I can't tell for sure because gauge is wonky

Thanx Mucho

Fill black/grey/fresh water tanks full
Then drain into 5 gallon buckets and add up gallons

Buy a garden end hose water meter ($12) and meter amount of water need to fill each tank

If you have physical access to the tanks, and if they are rectangular tanks then it's fairly easy...
I had to do this with my old coach...

I'll use my fresh water tank as an example...
A tape measure says the outside dimensions are 22.5 inches wide by 15.5 inches high by 44.5 inches deep

22.5 times 15.5 times 44.5 is 15519.375 cubic inches

15519 divided by 231 (the number of cubic inches in a gallon) = 67.18
but we are using outside dimensions for simplicity and that ignores the thickness of the tank walls... so call it around 66 gallons.

A while later I found a brochure from the vintage of my coach and it said 65 gallons. Close enough.

My current problem is that I need to find a new water tank, and there's no manufacturers label on the old one... and nobody seems to know who made the tanks for Fleetwood when their plant was in SoCal back in the 1980s...

Mike
