loaded up Saturday evening after work hooked up the dolly loaded my s-10 instead of the hhr, less trouble and the same basic size.
Sunday morning started out cold and windy well heck, need to check it out so off we go stopped and fueled , credit card good for $75 worth of fuel got out second card topped off figured this would happen no surprise will talk to card company again they have no idea about fuel tank sizes.
headed to Tulsa down old highway hate to pay $11 to run on 75 mile per hour road when I'm not planning on breaking 60 mph on this trip . thermostat stuck open enough heat for for us but not for engine, outside temp 35 degrees there goes the fuel mileage never did hit proper operating temp.
better half getting cold in back of coach moved up front from checking squeaks, rattles, etc.
stopped at flea market was way too cold the dog and us froze out at about the same time got back in i fired up the furnace and restarted the generator(got that pesky problem fixed with new air intake) wife tells me gen set is warming the coach nicely, got to laff at her she forgot it had a furnace.
rest of the trip went good went toward Joplin the cut back to house, have a small list to fix and should be ready for first long trip with wife and dog in may.
here are some inside pics of crick handy work still need a few curtains ,there is the new stove vent, replaced most of the lights, mattress and covers in the rear, where she thinks the dinette should be a day bed?
not for me to interfere I'll just lose again.
as I've said before really like and appreciate this group made life easy'er

best wishes frank, cricket, and harley the spoiled dog

Frank, You'll have to get used to running the credit card more than once. That seems to be the norm. We have a 75 gal. tank and it takes several times to fill.

And its not the card companies, its the stations themselves...

I send DW in with the card soon as we pull up, she tells clerk we need LOTS of gas and waits with card in hand- clerk opens system to allow full fill without stopping. Talk about heart attack! And we have a gasser 80 gallon tank. House payment is almost cheaper but not as much fun!
