Calling WB

Electra 225,

Yeah, Looks like I'll have to. Other than the remnants of carpet and the wheels. After weeks this is the only other match is the power converter. Thanks for the clue.

Maybe give WBGO a call. Give them your VIN and other info. They can most likely tell you the day it was built. They may have some advice on obtaining documents. You may even be able to download the manual? See what they say, I'm sure they'll be interested to hear about the coach.

Electra 225,

I called and finally got thru to the Parts department. The Rep. dug around a little bit to tell me All References have been purged from their system. So no Coach info and chassis info is limited to the after market.

So IRV2 is gonna be as good a source as any. Hopefully ever once in a while somebody will say, "Hey I got that!" or maybe I got one just like yours. ...left to my own devices.

177 pages VINTAGES PICTURES

177 pages, and None close to mine. I have had the valve covers off and the inside was showroom clean. Plenty of challenges ahead. So maybe "The Only One" is actually the only one left!

There is a youtube video but the guy says it has a 350. So that would be a Chevy.

I used to have a 1979 WBO Chieftain with the 440. The picture is in the "vintage photos" somewhere.

Good luck with your project and if I can I would answer any questions.

Chinewalker,

Yes, I found out that the stated year maybe misinformation. I am waiting for my title to arrive. It may say 1977, we will see. I have another thread "RESTORE: 1978 ..." It appears to be on a m400 chassis, but there was an inference to a m450.
