Hi Jay, I know what you mean when you say its making you crazy to look at something that needs to be done and you can't do it, the TH is out my front window next to my driveway. I guess they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, it'll all come in time ((so they tell me)

well guys and gals,
Done with the Dolphin ended up having to redo the axle seal, dummy me didn't have it in all the way. Then had to repair the wiring on the motorcycle trailer(UGHHH, I hate redoing someone else's monstrosity). Repacked the bearings on another tow dolley and adjusted the brakes so now they will work(surge brakes). Now I am scrubbing the rubber roof on the 5er, 4 hrs so far and 2/3 done. 9 years old and it still looks really good.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Frank

Good Morning Everyone, Yesterday morning woke up to 1/4" of ice and it hung around all day, this Am it is warmer, my temp sensor died overnight so don't know what the temps are now but its warmer, might get up to 60* today we will see. Frank, good to have some jobs done, always a good feeling. I know what you mean about having to fix others messes, I worked at Truck Stops of America many yrs ago as a mechanic/truck driver and the semi's that would come in with lights out and the mess of wiring from being fixed in a hurry was a nightmare. I got real good at cutting the wires off at the lights and starting over, much faster. Nice that your roof is in good shape, that's a huge relief I'm sure. Have a good day all.

Thanks Terry,
Hope that your knee is doing better. I am a strong advocate of scrubbing the roof twice a year with dish soap and water on my hands and knees and a medium bristle scrub brush. I don't use any UV protectant and really have no chalking. This also gives you a good chance to check the caulking real good, and always carry a tube of Dicor, so if I find any cracks or pinholes in the caulking, I add some and you never have a future problem.
Frank

Hi Frank, I think my knee is getting there, still have some pain especially late at night/early morning, just doesn't like to be still for long periods of time, and working on ROM, my PT person is very good, I had her for my other knee and she works it very well, I think the next couple of weeks is going to be the best and will see the most improvement, its basically healed, now just need to work it. Your maintenance program for your roof sounds like it will work very well to prevent any problems.

Terry, glad to see that your knee is making progress to the point you're able to do some work on the TH. Be careful and don't overdo it now that it feels better!

Good Morning, We won't be going full out for a little while yet, kinda getting into the groove a little at a time, still have too many distractions, (PT, Dr's appointments ect.) At least the weather is getting better it's supposed to be in the 60"s this week. Have a great day all.

Terry the weather will be great by the time you're fully mobile. Perfect timing I'd say. Gives you some time to keep planning.

MT and I got to yacking about Jeeps yesterday in CLAC. Spent a good deal of the evening planning out my dual t-case setup (like I have the time for it right now). DW saw what I was doing and said NO! you are not buying Jeep parts right now, we are moving. You're supposed to be getting rid of stuff. I laughed and said just planning dear and I am getting rid of stuff. See these ads? hehe Next came the eyeroll, shaking of the head as she walked away muttering something about she knew she should have married that doctor.
