Curtis, Nice that you will be able to travel with your son overseas . No problem with the Hijack, we are all friends here. Popeye, that's what makes it all worth posting, keeps me out of trouble. I replaced the original stairs that was just one, with a two stair, should make it easier to get in and out.

Terry,
Looks good and that was a good way to roll it out. Also the steps look good.
Curtis,
I meant to run them horizontal, if I didn't say it, I apologize. What a wonderful way to spend time with your son, a trip full of fond memories.
Gordon,
I have this thing about putting jacks directly on the ground, and I just don't like to bind things up to where they can't move when they need to, just one of my quirks.
Frank

Terry - after the bikes are unloaded I dont suppose you could make a patio out of it? Couple jackstands, posts for railing, brawley and a couple deck chairs.

Curtis, what a great gift, and wow, you are going to have fun! So, Lets see, how far is it to Israel from Thailand? Hehehe!! Maybe time to plan a trip to Israel?
Terry, wow, the steps look great, and the ramp turned out great also! You look like you are back in the saddle!!
I found some old pic's of my old 54 Panhead, have them on my phone, but will have to download them to the laptop, so I can put them on here! I downloaded the IRV2 app for android, but can not figure out how to post a pic?? So it will be tomorrow or so before I get it done!
Everyone have a great day! Rail!

Rail, Thanks, love those old Panheads! look forward to the pics. Here is the setup that I use to load the bikes, the ramp in the middle is rated for 1600 lbs. I put the ones on ether side for my feet. I am going to redo the old jack stands so they will also be tall enough to make the ramp into a deck. the jack stands have a hole in the middle that a bolt goes thru they aren't against the ramp, and they can't slip.

Terry,
Looks good, more food for thought, A couple guys at the Park have drilled through the door and then the side walls, ran eye bolts, then hooked up cables to the eyebolts to hold the door level. Are you going to hinge the ramps to the door, then you can just flip them over and hook them to the door for storage and transport? Like I said just foof for thought.

Hi Frank, I thought about hooking cables since I already have eye bolts in the ramp, and cables would be easier to store, but I do like the strength that the jack stands give and since I have to have them anyway I might as well use them. I am looking at using the ramps as railings for the ramp when its a deck, they would be low but since I don't drink that's all I need . If I do that, then I won't hinge them, we will see how that works.
