Terry, do you have your saws set up in TH garage to keep out of rain and still keep working?

MK, Thanks! Ron, I had the equipment all set up in the TH garage in the winter, then it got "nice" outside so I moved outside, I have a quick up cover 12' by 12' but we have been getting alot of wind with the rain, ( I live on top of the mountain) so the cover is not on it. And my shop is filled with the bikes, equipment and parts, so I can't work in there . And now with the headliner up and some finished woodwork I really don't want to cut ect. inside. I'm hoping the weather will just straighten out, we've been stuck in this wet pattern and its got to break soon, (famous last words).

Terry I hope you get some sun so we can see that pantry cab .

Looks like the rain will finally make it to the Maine coast today , still nothing yet but the weather guessers are "saying" showers and T storms.....
I'm doing the 'ol wait n see ,,,,any storm that isn't snow is easy peazy.

Got the day off but still getting up at 6am ,,trying to get my body to accept it as normal . I just checked the calendar and this place will close in only 10 more weeks , summah is goin' fast .

Hi, Popeye, I hope so too, I would just like to work without checking my weather app all the time looking for the storms that roll thru. I have to pick up some more things to finish up the pantry and other little projects within the "project". by the time it stops raining I should be able to work for awhile. Your right summer is rapidly going .

Pantry is looking good Terry, I hate to say it but with all this rain, I am getting bored just sitting around and reading. DW's son just got a project at a local pub and I volunteered to help him, just so I can have something to do and move around.
Stormed last night pretty good and it is not looking good right now, so another day inside,YUK.

Frank, I'm with you about the rain, I was watching the Jetstream and it seems to be going thru your area and right up here. I'd be volunteering too.

Terry / gang - just checking in on the thread here and continue to be impressed by your progress... Hope you get a chance to get out there camping soon!
I may have missed it earlier on in the thread, but wondering if you have the tires, brakes and bearings all sorted on the rig?

BTW - Dar's new knees are working well, but her pain levels are difficult to control as she is pushing herself and her therapy very hard. The surgeon saw her yesterday for her two week checkup and said that she was easily at the 5 or 6 week mark with her flexibility and entire range of motion. The Oxycodone is her last resort for pain as it slows the gut to the point of blocking her (me too if I am on it) up and then makes her even more miserable. She just got some Tramadol to help for when Tylenol just won't cut it. I am very proud of her...

Hi, Randy, good to hear your DW is progressing well its always a juggling act with the pain meds because you really want to push the PT and it hurts! I don't like Oxy and when I have to use Hydrocodone instead it doesn't stop things as bad (with me anyway) check back on pages 30 to 34 in there is when I installed the axles on the TH I did three new Dexter 6000lb axles with the upgraded brakes and new tires and rims.

Hi Terry... Evidently this doc doesn't like hydrocodone for some reason... Dunno...

I missed the part of your build that covered the axles - nice work!!!! Are you doing something to soften up the rear suspension of the tractor? I recall reading elsewhere about the suspensions being too stiff and causing frame probs on the FW.. No personal experience, just curious...

I'm rebuilding the suspension on mine right now and am using the Mor/Ryde HD Shackles and wet bolts.. Waiting on grease seals now to re-assemble that side of the trailer.. Got the LR-G tires for that side mounted and balanced now..

Good Afternoon, Just got back from getting more "stuff". Randy, I'm going to run an air ride 5th wheel, and some where down the road when I find one I want to swap over to air ride suspension on the TV. I would like to find the right gears and a locker.

Rebuild

Good Evening, Well the rain let up long enough to let me work for a hr. or so. I got the basic box built for the pantry, shelves need to be built and installed, then the whole thing sanded down and painted. put a few items in to give an idea how big it was. Also installed the door lock on the garage door, I need to make a flat piece of steel for reinforcement for the pin the goes thru the door.

Looks good Terry. I thought you would be putting the door directly on the pullout so it all came out together with one pull but I think this may be a good alternative as the door will help to keep the pullout from coming out when you are underway.

From the test articles it looks like 2 moveable shelves will be doable. It looks like you will be able to store a fair amount of goods there.

Can you put a small lip on the front of the shelves to keep the articles from moving towards the back and jamming the door?
