Terry,

I really don't think you are too far off from being done. I know sometimes the little finishes take a bit of time, but I think you two are close. It is amazing how far you have come on this when you go back and look at page 1.

People will find this thread and go all the way through it even after it is done. It definitely will be viewed for years to come. Nice job, look forward to the finished product but probably not as much as you two.

Lynne

Good Evening, Gordon, LOL, Thanks for the offer! Sorry for the teaser but Eleanor says I have to finish trimming it before I can reveal the whole thing. Lynne, That's so true about the little things taking sooo much time, we both worked on the headboard area all day, and I mean from 6:30 am till now, its 8:40 pm, with a couple of breaks. We thank you for the kind words, I hope maybe if it can inspire someone to take on a project and bring a bunch of memories, that would be great. Have a great night all.

Terry,
That looks really good, tell Eleanor what a great job that she is doing, much better than anything that you can buy.

Rebuild

Good Evening, Popeye, Many years ago DW and I had our first truck camper, now mind you it wasn't in the best of shape, (it was a freebee), but we would take it and sleep at the race tracks that we raced at, one night, (it was very late) the first thing the air mattress went flat, then the whole bed collapsed, it was the kind that the table went down into a bed. We didn't get any sleep that night, sooo I have to make a very solid bed. Still working in the bedroom, built in the drawer sections on each side of the bed, covered the tops with the same laminate we used on the kitchen counters. The one on the left (is really the right one) needs to be stained and both have to be trimmed yet.

Lookin good, I agree a stout bed is needed.

Given the tradition here seems to be to gently add to your list of "To Do's",

Don't forget a outlet for a clock radio and phone charging!

Terry,
There may be a lot left to do, but you have done more already than what is left to do, so you are making great strides. Now maybe set your goal to be using it, say like the 1st of August. That is a realistic goal. The side dressers look great and I agree with Lloyd in S.C. on outlet for clock radio and/or portable electronics charging.

Terry, I can't tell from the picture, is that outlet by the bed the kind with USB ports? As usual, your TH is looking great.

It is going to be really comfortable on those days when you just want to lay in bed for a bit more, enjoying the morning and having a coffee.
