Rebuild

Good Afternoon, Well I filled the fresh water tank, had a couple of small leaks, one was on the bypass valve for the hot water heater, there is a new one on the way. the other was on a fitting going into the water pump replaced that one, and we are good to go. Tested both the city water and the self contained system and no leaks and water comes out where it should . Here's a pic of the kitchen faucet.

Terry,

When you can use the facilities, cook and clean up your mess, you are about there. Next thing you know you will be sitting at a CG enjoying the view. Of course, that is after you two load up your bikes and ride for a while.

There will be things you will fix or change as you use it, but you are so close you must be anxious to get her done. So glad for both of you.

Terry,
You did excellent if that is all the more you had to change to stop the leaks. Also the kitchen setup looks great.

Good Morning, Lynne, should have a new toilet gasket today then can use that . We will upgrade as we use it, already know of a few things. Frank, thanks, I was nervous about filling the fresh water system, boy what a mess that can make . Finishing up the stairs, should have new steer tires for the TV by the end of the week, should be able to work on the pantry again today.

Good Afternoon, well USPS brought me a toilet flange gasket so that's installed, and UPS brought me a bypass kit and that's installed and the hot water heater started and made hot water , and it came out of every faucet . Still waiting on the bathroom sink and tub.

Good Evening, Lloyd, I've been camping........ this is not camping . it's our motel room on wheels, Eleanor and I every year took a week long vacation on our motorcycles, we would put alot of miles on in that week and always stayed in motels, a couple of yrs ago I developed severe osteoarthritis in my hands and can't ride long distance anymore, that's why the Toy Hauler idea came up, we can take the bikes to an area stay in it, and ride the area in short trips. I cooked a quick snack today, (burritos) so it is functional . Just have to finish up a few more things . Popeye, Yup.

Howdy Terry, sorry to hear about the shortened touring career. I love to tour, in fact, I am leaving work in Charlotte, NC tomorrow evening and riding to Yorktown Heights, NY. Have a memorial to attend on Saturday for a very good buddy cancer got Then I have to be back home on Monday for work, a quick 680 mile trip each way. Haven't had time to ride my Wing lately figured I would circulate the oil some.

I work Monday and Tuesday, and then we head to Gettysburg PA with the RV for Debbie's family reunion. (her entire family is RV'ers) My son, my son in-law, and a brother in-law all ride, we bring bikes and sneak away a few mornings and enjoy the dutch country roads..... with one eye out looking for the horse Doo, Doo in the road Taking my VFR for that.

So, I will get some riding in next 2 weeks.

Debbie isn't up to the touring any more, so hauled in our Toy Hauler till May, when we bought our used coach. She has a bad knee, due for replacement probably this fall.
