Good Morning, MK, Thanks! it'll be soon I hope. Frank, I can put in the back splash before the tub surround. I'm with you I've never had a front tire blowout, I once blew four tires on a log truck I drove for a guy, it was a Tri Axle, it was on a road that was recently shaled, we had 14 full cord of pulp wood on. That old truck was scary, 220 Cummins and naturally aspirated w/a 10 speed, can we say NO POWER . We "camped" out in the TH last night . Everything went well, we used all the systems, and made our first pot of COFFEE

Fabulous Terry!!!! Man that camper has come a long way!!! Excellent work by you and your bride!
Congratulations on your latest milestone!
---
Had a Left Front blow on my old 92 Airstream DP coach.. I was pulling my racecar on trailer at the time... Was a scary ride to be sure and thank God that no one was to my left when it happened because the whole nine yards made a left turn and I was lucky enough to get it gathered up before it went into the ditch... Their was little left of that Michelin 19.5" tire other than the beads and some of the radial plies.. The tire literally exploded! Took a bunch of trim and bent up the bottom of the driver's door when it happened. Now tires on my rigs get removed after their sixth birthday regardless of their condition/wear.. I just bought six Sailun S637's for my camper.. I should be good for a while.
---
Dar is now a little more that 4 weeks since both knees were replaced. What a trooper she's been. She's graduated from her walker to a cane and we've gone grocery shopping and hit Menards a couple of times!!!
Stairs are still tough for her so we've not camped yet.. I'm still working on the Fortress (camper) anyway...

Hi Randy, great news about Dar, it just takes time, my right knee still feels different, is hard to explain but for awhile you can just feel something inside, my left knee after 2 years now is just "normal" I go about things and don't even think about it, right one isn't quite there yet. I don't want to start a war here but when I worked for Truck Stops of America (TA now) most of the front tire blow outs on big rigs were Michelins, and alot ended up in the ditch one way or the other. We are hanging the Cornices on the windows and doing some trim, weekends are spent doing that because Eleanor does the staining and painting, funny I ran a body shop and painted cars and trucks but dislike painting inside a house ect. Have a Great Day .

Randy,
We are so glad to hear that Dar is getting along good on her knee replacements.
Terry,
Glad that everything went well last night, are you at the stage to start loading the kitchen utensils and such yet?
Frank

Hi, Jay M and Frank, Jay Thanks we think so too . Frank, Eleanor's been looking at the drawers and figuring what she needs to organize things. Right now we have just some paper plates and such until we get that all figured out.

Thanks fellas - I'll pass along your kind words to her....
Her only concerns now are that her knees are very tender and always feel HOT to the touch... I guess we need to talk to the doctor about that...

It would be nice if we could all meet one fine day on the road!!!

Good Evening, Thanks Jay, Randy, Her knees being hot to the touch is normal I actually took a Infrared Thermometer and took reading and mine where alot hotter than the other will be that way for almost a year it'll go a little cooler as time goes on. It sure would be nice to meet everyone, we might be planning a get together next year 4th of July in Oklahoma at Old Car Nuts place. We got ALOT of trimming done today, (until we ran out) so another trip to ol Home Depot and bought another load.

Mr. Harley1994,
Congratulations on the first campout in the TH. You have come a long way for sure!!!

Big-Foot, I have the same tire on my Motorhome, the Sailun S-637 19.5" tire, they seem to hold up very well and the ride is fine, No M***** for me, I can't afford them in more ways than one!!

Good Afternoon, Randy, Your Welcome having had two knees replaced also gives me some insight on what's going on, any questions just ask . John, Thanks! Doing some more trimming, than running the TV to the tire store and dropping it off for tomorrow morning, for two new front sneakers.

Golly Gee! I went away for 3 days, the rig has been slept in, and we are working on the tow vehicle! Awesome! Congrats to both of you!

Oh boy, I was amazed at all the RV's on the highway between here and New York and back. Every shape, form and brand. You could easily see how popular this is becoming. Lots of Toy Haulers, or rigs towing toys.

Where ever you go on that first trip Terry you won't be alone.
