Popeye, Thank you sir, . I have recycled almost all of that donor 5th wheel . I still have the frame left, that will be built into a car hauler, when I have time.

Looking good!!! You need to take it on a shakedown run. I have moved south to New River area in WV.

Terry,
Nice job, you will be thankful for the additional storage that you picked up.Also, don't forget to add the clips to hold the storage door up while you get into the compartment. On my unit the bottom of the battery compartment and the bottom of the propane compartment are open. If you want something, then I would just put a fairly open type heavy duty mesh, just to keep large rocks, road debris from coming in.

Good Morning, Bill, we are hoping to take it on a couple short runs here soon, we need to run it to the local Cat scale to get all the weights. Frank, Yup, I need to get some heavy mesh to fill in around the propane tank mount, I also have a battery vent to install and make sure I have openings in the bottom of the battery box. The clips are a good idea rather then hold them open with my head . Have a great day all.

Hey Bap, I'm off subject most of the time, no problem. Jump day sounds interesting, I used to jump out of perfectly good airplanes, (A LONG TIME AGO).

Rebuild

Good Evening, Almost done with the trim, a few pieces left, worked on the sliding pantry, Eleanor stained it, all that's left is some trim around the edges and its done. it was too nice this afternoon so we took the bikes out for a ride, but the rain chased us home . So much for the weather man again.

No This was my first time at New River. I did see in the visitors center where they talked about Jump day. They even do rappelling off the bridge. You can take a tour that lets you walk on a catwalk under the bridge. Nothing but 800+feet between you and the river.
I recommend this area as a great area to ride bikes, lots of interesting roads.
Tomorrow I am going to Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

Pantry looks great Terry, You will be able to fit enough food in there to last you all season. That thing is huge. Glad that you and Eleanor got to go out and ride, at least for a while.

Good Morning, Bill, sounds like an interesting area. Frank, thanks we figured that we can put quite abit of stuff in there, not too bad for a dead area that was going to be just a wall. We needed to go out yesterday and put a down payment on our heat for the winter, (we use wood pellets, four ton) hate to think of it. stopped for ice cream and came out to sprinkles, (not the ice cream type) but we beat the rain and got home without getting wet. Rain today here, have a great day all.

Hello from Gettysburg!

Nice pantry Terry. Debbie would love that in our rv. Ours is pretty useless.

Lloyd, You know a nice pantry is only a hammer and saw away . Bap, I would love to be in the Smokies right now . This coming week here is supposed to be in the 90's and humid (its better than the cold).
