Good Afternoon, Made it back home, no problems the whole trip . TH towed well, and the TV ran flawlessly, got around 6 to 7 MPG, but we won't be running that one next year hopefully so we won't worry about that. The weather was perfect, company was even better, Frank gave some pointers on setup ect. that was greatly appreciated . Glad he was there for the maiden voyage. Here's a couple of pics as requested, one was looking out the front of the TV, I'll let you all guess who's who.

Frank, Rita, Eleanor and Terry!

If I got that right, Terry's T shirt gave it away.

Lynne - Yowsers. Big rig.

I think you build it, plant some grass and trees around it, add a picnic table, swing, fire pit and what ever else strickes your fancy and there you are - set up in a campground.

Lloyd - check out Liberty Farms. There is a like to the website in Jay's signature.

Terry and Eleanor: Glad you had a great time. You both look relaxed. First pull is always a bit stressful until you are sure everything is pulling correctly. Did you end up with a small punch list?

I guessed right too !

Lynne
I already have a use for that semi-bus.
I used to broadcast a radio program for 3 or 4 hours every thursday night on the CB. Lots of people in my area had them .
One of the segments was called
"Nekkid Wimmin' For Swimmin' Auditions"
(The winner each week won a chance to swim with , did you guess it ?? , popeye heffner !)

That bus would have room for 80 contestants and even has a sleeper cab !

I'll tell everyone about the other segments of my show later...................

Good Evening, PushedAround, Yup we are . Gordon, great time, we have a few things on our list to do. We still have things that need finishing, like the solar install, more trim ect. Lynne, I never drove a school bus like that . be kinda cool. Popeye, Not sure how to respond to that one . You will be fun around a campfire . We are going to be getting ready to go next week to the Adirondacks for a week. Oh.....Gordon we didn't take the bikes last weekend knew we would be to busy and not go anywhere. Next week when we go we will have the bikes to run around.

Lloyd,
I think it is in Woodford, OK., Like someone already said it will be in Jay's signature.
If memory serves me correctly, it is 40 or 50 miles west of Oklahoma City.
Terry,
Glad that you guys got home ok, Rita and I had a wonderful weekend and hope that we can do it again. You are more than welcome for the pointers, usually you end up finding out the hard way, but it is always nice to be forewarned.
Popeye,
I agree with Terry, I really don't know how to respond.
Frank

Great Pic, Terry!! But may I ask, who took the pic?
Lynne, I had a similar rig planed out, I was going to change my OTR truck into a TV, and my thoughts were to pull the biggest 5th wheel I could find! But, as they say, "things change"
Glad you all had a great time!
Lloyd, here you go, cut and paste this into google maps,

Thanks Terry, it looks like we may be a little later pulling out this morning. The fog that has been blanketing the valley the past few mornings drifted up over us this morning, so we will wait till most of it burns off before we take off.
Frank

Frank,

Liberty Farms, Woodward, OK. Got it. We will give it serious consideration. Looks like almost exactly a 1,200 mile run for us. Maybe we will combine it with a vacation in the west. We shall see. Going to pass not too far from there in a week or so.

You all have a great day! I gotta get to work!

Thanks for the pics - looks like a great time was had by all!!!!

We're sorta following in your footsteps...
Dar and I are re-covering the ceilings in the living room and bedroom slides.. Living room first. I took out the booth and busted that up for the dump. Then took out the hide-a-bed and did the same thing only I cut out all the useable steel I could use for other projects.. I think we may be able to do the BR slide with just taking off the mattress..

Frank, yup I would wait also, don't like driving in the fog. Lloyd, that would be great if you can make for the 4th at Jay's. Randy, hey where's the pics? . Good luck with the projects. I'm not a fan of the booths ether, I like a table and chairs.
