OK have to confess the only applicants I ever got to the wimmin' for swimmin' segment was me Olivesk and me best friend's girl Tazzy D.
Lots said they were going to show up but chickened out. It was a fun part of the show though. We all fit in my Caravan !

But seeing that bus made me think of the possibillities !!!!!!

Stay tuned for more segments to be described ,,,,,,,,,,maybe after I run out of pirate jokes .

Sorry Popeye. I got the picture. I thought the idea had merit and it should have worked. Possibly have to think about vetting a smaller group of wimmin.

Addendum: Since this is a swimmin segment there should be a pool somewhere in the picture. While the school bus would have had a wonderful pool it would probably be too long to be practical. Once you had swum a length would you be in any shape to select the winner?

Perhaps a smaller RV with an appropriately sized pool, namely a hot tub would be very practical.

OK , this is how it worked , the wimmin' got nekkid and then the selected winner got to go swimmin'. No pool. Lake. (A pool or a hot tub in an RV would NOT work out.)
At least that was the concept idea.

In reality due to no other entrants ever showin' up , myself and me Olivesk , my friend Violator and Tazzy D would just go to the lake next door after dark (sometimes very dark) and errrrrr , well , ya know , "swim".

But if CB was still popular I would do the radio show again and revive the segment as the position of Olivesk is now vacant and my buddy Violator was killed on his way home riding his new Fat Boy by a lady in a mini van backing out in front of him , Tazzy is still around but she found a new guy before I got home from Death Valley or I'd be chasing her !!

The bus with enough room for so many passengers and the sleeper in the cab kinda boggles the mind. Maybe a national syndicated radio show would be required ????????

Good Morning, Popeye, The trip home was perfect, no trouble. The left rear hub was still running hotter than the others, 130 degs. compared to 117 for the others. I did some research and found that hubs could run 160 degs. with no problem. I did pull that one and cleaned and checked the bearing for any defects didn't find any, so I repacked and reinstalled. I am changing the rear tire on my bike today. We are leaving Sunday for the Adirondacks, we will be there till Thursday, plan on running the bikes and touring the area. I installed a set of struts yesterday on the bed frame to help lift, they were used, so I need to get a set a little stronger.

bap,
Coming across I86/NY17 yesterday, everything was still green. But that was across the southern tier of NY, it is possible that where Terry and Eleanor are going that they may be changing, it is a higher elevation and a little farther north.
