Popeye:
A clothing optional hot tub may be just the way to rejuvenate the program. May have to broadcast on FRS but I am getting the impression the broadcast was a secondary goal.

Just sayin . . . . . . .

Back on track.

We are getting some color changes here. Our birch are pretty much leafless and we have determined our departure date for the south. Leaving Oct 3.

Bap, we don't have much going on yet as far as leaves changing, just some muting of the green and the corn in the fields tasseling out, they will be harvesting soon. The days getting shorter is what I notice most, really dislike that. We have seen the geese too that's never a good sign. Gordon, is Oct.3rd sooner than normal? Yes the summer is rapidly going, now that I can use the TH we will be putting it away sooner than I would like. Would have liked to get up to Maine this year, have been there a couple of times but haven't been able to spend like a week, biggest obstacle is Eleanor's job . Our apple trees haven't started to drop yet that'll be another month or so. Gotta go finish the bike tire, need to get it Inspected before the next trip.

I am originally from New York, been here in S.C. 23 years. The leaves kinda just get tired here, and fall off. It is a long summer.

85 degrees right now, pretty low humidity for where we are, 39%.

Terry, the Adirondacks will be fun, we used to frequent there. Very pretty, most can't even imagine N.Y. is so nice. Not to mention the size, 6 million acres of state park. Yellowstone is 2 million. Of course winter there, is another story, unless you love snowmobiling. Hated to give that up, but loved turning in my snow shovel! Gave them away at the farewell party as party favors!

Lloyd, I know, I always say I'm from UPSTATE NY, not just NY because most think of the city that haven't been here. We also love the Adirondacks and have gone many times, 2 to 3 hours puts us in the heart of it. Never did like snowmobiling, it was low 40's there this morning right now here its 66 degs. so it never did get to the 70's like they said, maybe in Albany. I will love to turn the snow shovels over to my son, and the keys to the truck with the plow, looking forward to it.

Good to see you're going on another trip with the 2 wheelers on board.
I'm sure you'll still be checking that hub temp at every stop , I do that all the time just cuz I can.

Gordon
The show was always the main thing , all else was just "entertainment"
,actually , I guess that's what the show was too

Lloyd
You're supposed to strap the snow shovel on the back of the rig and wait till someone asks you what kind of shovel it was , then you know you've gone far enough.

Lynne
Did you figure out the problem yet?
Leaving the dump valve open (or the pump off while traveling) should get you through till you get it fixed.

The leaves here in Maine are still bright green , there are always a few maple trees that will change to orange on a limb or two in June , probably fermented sugar sap or something......

Low 70s today and nice for the next several days with lower humidity like at Terry's.

Haven't seen any migrating geese yet but they usually pass through in September

Popeye, you reminded me of a buddy that moved to California in the 70's took his Power Wagon Dodge PU with the snow plow, we used to cruse around and people would stare and ask what it was for, we used to tell it was for the sand storms .

Hi Popeye;
I think we should call the bare nekked wimmin angle "schtick". It is always good to have an angle that attracts a viewer/listeners attention. We know it is all in fun but is a bit naughty because it has a small chance of being true.

I like the shovel on the back of the truck.

Gordon,
I think you are instigating popeye, maybe we should start calling you the instigator, haha.
I believe that the trees should be turning by the time I get down through West Virginia in the middle of October. It will be pretty, but I just hope that it won't be too cold.
Later all,
Frank
