camping trip

Harley, Saw a utube video of another homemade fifth wheel. He put a sign out at the campground to let all know it was homemade. You might consider this. Charge a quarter for the tour and fund your next improvements. Post tour hours. Inflation 50cents. Your friend in Niagara Falls,NY Ann

Good Evening, been busy last couple of days, being on vacation is work . Frank and Rita, Katrina says hi back, she really enjoyed the day with Rita. Lynne, thanks, we've had a fire every night, very relaxing. Popeye, Thanks. Sam what an idea , I give'm for free now. we've done alot of hiking here at Ausable Chasm can get quite a work out. Today we went to the Olympic Training center and where the miracle on ice happened in 1980 in Lake Placid, NY, then went up White face mountain, very nice ride. here's a couple pics.

Terry,
Those views and being able to enjoy them are what this lifestyle is all about. Along with meeting all the nice people that you do along the way. Tell Katrina that Rita enjoyed their day together also.

Terry - always a great day for a ride. Does not hurt when you get to see things like that during the ride.

We were down in Colorado. Some great riding down there and a couple roads to mark on your list. Highway 550 (million dollar highway) and the Black Canyon Road. Both are spectacular. Another is Independence Pass, near Aspen.

Ride safe and have a great vacation.

Good Afternoon, Made it home, no problems . TH and TV performed perfectly. Bill, its a very nice area, it really takes days to see it all. Gordon, when we get there, we will take it all in, thanks! The Ausable Chasm was fantastic, the views are great, and the raft ride wasn't bad ether. How about that for a bridge .

Terry,
What a beautiful view, did you guys go rafting? Glad to hear that you had no problems. Are you planning another short trip before you winterize it for the season? Then it will be time to start on the new TV, if you ever get it.
Frank

Hi Bap, Frank, Bap, Great area, would like to go back and spend more time there. Frank, yup we went rafting . Not sure if we will be able to go again before winter sets in, sure would like to . Supposed to pick up the "new" TV on Tuesday, over vacation they said it was ready. Will start on it shortly after. First thing is, its the season to start getting ready for winter here, we burn pellets so we have to pick up them and get the equipment ready ect., and just a general pick up and clean.

Its tough to get everything in shape before bad weather sets in when you still have grass to mow and then its leaves to rake, etc, etc. Hope that you can get started soon on the TV, that way you can have the hard stuff done before bad weather.

Good Morning, Frank, some day I won't have to do that, (get ready for winter). I will probley mix a little work on the TV along with the work around here, but like you say if I can get the heavy stuff done.

Just a thought, You can start working on the box while you wait on the truck. At least start laying out your thoughts on the inside Having double the power with the new TV has to be exciting, it will make the drive to your destination a lot more relaxing.

Hi Frank, we averaged 6 MPG with the Cornfield Caddy, so with more power I should get better mileage, (I hope), I figure maybe 9 or 10. Having cruse and other creature comforts won't be bad ether . I still need to remove it from the "donor" truck, its been setting as a storage unit. we used the truck as a trailer toter for the race cars, it also has a low mileage 350 CI motor that is going in another project. I can't complain about the TV I have now, it ran great, just lacks a little power, I felt like I was in a fully loaded log truck going up some of the hills .

Hard to think about how short your season is when I am setting hear at 97 and for cast 98-99 tomorrow.
Saw snow on the weather map for the first time on the Canadian boarder near Calgary.
