Terry, if you look at the pic of the toter you showed, it has a nice polished alum. hand rail mounted for his air hose guide, on the back, middle of the sleeper. You can pick those up at the bone yard for cheap! Freightliners had many of them, mine had 4 down each side! Rail!

Good Afternoon, Went out shopping for material, got what I needed to enclose the rear of the box and install the rear door, at least temp. on the door because I need to get aluminum panels for the exterior. Keeps trying to rain here so looks like tomorrow. Have a Great Day All.

Terry,
With a body like that, I think that it would be relatively easy to incorporate the steps into the side of the body. Like you said you wouldn't be able to use them with the TH hooked up, but it would work. Also, like Rail suggested, at the bottom use an automatically retracted MH step to get you to the ground, so the last step isn't so high.

Good Morning, Just got back from going out for breakfast, don't do that too often, nice break for the cook. Frank, I need to check on a set of powered steps, when I get closer to building and know how many steps I'll need, but I'm also thinking on the folding steps that will fold up into the body so the body will remain flat when folded......so many choices makes it fun . Cold and keeps trying to sprinkle today hope it clears up want to get started on the rear of the body. Have a great day all.

Terry
Back when I had my wood shop , friends or customers would drop by and express amazement at how everything always looked amazing and seemed to fly together.
The reality of it was having all the right tools and knowing the sequence required to get it done , one step at a time to completion.
You have this stuff down to a personal science now and it shows .
I posted previously how I knew that this project was going to seem like it was going to move right along and you're doing just that !
Way to go Bud 2 a doze.
It will probably be wrapped up by the end of the year... well,at least the inside.....
Will anyone enjoying a location with warmth , please go outside and blow some of it towards ME!! (Terry could probably use some too!)
I Yam where I Yam and it's gettin' cold heah , OH AYUH

Terry, looks great!
Wondering if while working the back there, and 18 or 24" brow might be nice on the back of the body? Across the entire rear body. It could be flat level with the roof, or even have a slight pitch to it. Maybe a light up under there for access, or a string of LED's.

Good Morning, Popeye, That's true, equipment has alot to do with it, the only thing that's going to hold up construction is having the funds to buy the material, after all I'm retired . seriously I just can't put as much into this right now, and I don't want to compromise what I put into it. A little heat sent this way and on up to you would be greatly appreciated, its 24* here this am. Lloyd, Something like that might look good, I sometimes make things out of cardboard or wood to get an idea. I'm thinking lining the perimeter of the rear bed with LEDS to light up the area. Need more coffee, catch all later!

Looks good Terry, Now you can work on the inside even when the weather doesn't cooperate.
