Rail, shoot me a msg about what you are looking for. There are several smaler dealers along with plenty of FSBO units around here.

I'm going to look at this one in abut an hour

Used 1998 Holiday Rambler Navigator CLASS A DIESEL in Marysville 1RF120617W1015248
Jay, The Navigator's are one of my favorite's, top of the HR line up! You will have to have very short legs to get in the drivers seat though!!
I am looking for a DP, well loved, older unit! 20,000 or (LESS), I want to pay cash, and not be buried in it! My trouble is, being over here, time me getting someone to go see on the really good deals, they are gone! I will keep looking, and as everyone says, when the time is right, it will show up! I also have my eye on a Navigator, but he has not budged on his price (20,000) yet! I will email him today, see if he will consider a lower price, if cash? There are a lot of nice older Beavers out there, in my price range, but most have the 3208 V-8 Cat, which I am not a fan of!
I did find one that said it had a 3406 Cat motor? That would be a hot rod, for sure!
Hope this one is the one for you! Rail!

Well looks like I just went in on a King of the road 5th wheel, my buddy and I bought it for 250.00 of course it has water damage and would be too extensive to repair, sooo I have another DONOR trailer for all the electrics, cabinets and appliances, going to hook things up tomorrow to make sure everything works. He wants the frame and I can use everything else. woodwork in this is great with lots of storage, nice windows etc. Stay Tuned.

Rail- I got your PM. I'll call them today and see what I can set up.

I love the HR nav too. I'm 6ft even and legroom has not been an issue in any of the coaches we have looked at. DW is 5'7 and when she moves a seat in one of our rigs I can't even get in so I get how 3-4 inches more can make a big difference.

Something came up here and I didn't get over there yesterday but will today since errands take me very close.

Terry- nice score on that 5er. Will save you a ton of $$ as well as fab time not that salvage and re-purpose is time saving.

Jay, Time I have lots of, money, lets just say I try to stretch it as far as I can. Popeye, being in the great northeast does have it's advantages when it comes to finding rigs with damage too far gone to fix, at that time mostly people just want them gone, there have been at least 5 recently for free , that I just didn't move on. There are several MH here now that need motor work and are going real cheap, just don't have the time to do all of them. Well gotta go finish putting dog leg repair panels on a truck I'm selling. Stay Tuned

Always nice to have extra parts (options) around for the times when inspiration hits. My issue is remembering where I put the stuff.

Terry, great find on the "King of the Road" those were top of the line in their day! You will have lots of good useable parts on it for sure, the cabinets were all solid wood and very nice!
Jay, no problem!
Everyone have a great day! Rail

Excellent buy Terry! It is amazing how many RV's die due to leaky roofs. It would seem there would be a better system, but it is not in the builders interest to have them last longer I guess.

Over the years I bought 2 leaky roof RV's, a MH and a truck camper and fixed them both. Camped in them, then sold them at a profit. But you have to catch them early, at some point they are too far gone.

Looks like the toter will have a full compliment of appliances!

Nice find Terry, like others have said, real top of the line units in their day. Now you have the correct footprint of everything that you want to put in the Tot'r.

Good Morning, Gordon, Rail, Lloyd, Frank, having a whole trailer to choose parts from makes my job easier. This one even has a slide. There could be a whole cottage industry taking older RV's and repurposing the parts, like I've said If I was younger I'd be tempted to take these old RV's and rebuild them into usable units, (wait that's what I've been doing Hmmmm) if you had enough parts laying around you could even do custom builds for sale, putting new parts where needed. Stay Tuned.

Fixing up older units for resale and an RV boneyard was one of the things DW and I considered doing. Liberty Farms derailed that idea. LOL. DW wanted to be the designer. The good Lod called us in another direction.

Sure are some good opportunities out there.

Terry I hear ya on time/money. I always seems to be short of one of them.
