Okay, finally setting down. Checked out the donor, we can use almost everything, the hot water heater is electric/propane w/remote start, has a very nice 50 Amp converter/charger will get the brand later, has a remote battery disconnect, ducted AC, two grey water tanks, huge fresh water tank, tank flushers built in, all solid hardwood cabinets, microwave, so many things that can be used, what a shame that someone would let this go, it was because the rear fiberglass cap was not caulked properly and it leaked and took out the ceiling and roof. I'll get some pics later.

Wow, all that for $250.00. You couldn't buy all that even used for that price. That's a good looking trailer, must really be bad to not be able to save it.

George, Gordon, I originally was asked to evaluate and see if it was fixable, I told them it wasn't feasible and would just be too much and they could buy one that was not damaged cheaper then it would cost to repair, I came home, they contacted a friend of mine and offered it to him so we went in together he wants the frame and I want the other parts. Gordon, the awning needs new fabric and its at least 20' long, won't fit on the Tot'r but it might find its way on the TH. Forgot not only was the roof bad but someone put the one side of the slide arm through the side of the trailer.

Terry,

What a great find. You can keep the parts you don't use for another project or sell what you don't use to someone else who has their own project. May give you the money for something you do need.

Gong to look nice in your new build though. Still enjoying watching. Lynne

Possibly an awning swap between the TH and Tot'r. Replacement awning fabric is fairly cheap if the frame is in good shape.

Hi Lynne, the parts are top quality so should work out nice. Gordon, it would be nice if everything on the awning checks out ok get a good new fabric in the colors we like, but both are too long for the Tot'r, I'm going to need one around 10' long.

Terry, with all those parts, and solid wood cabinets you will have everything you need, for sure! You can also put a second A/C in the TH, with the 50 amp service! Did it have a generator in it? A lot of those high end 5th wheels came with generators! Too bad it was not Alum. sided, could have got the scrap price for that too! Great Buy! Rail!

Rail, yup, some of those parts will end up on the TH for sure Got the latest video up, showing the crack on the roof and the resealing.

Nice Terry, You know that you can always cut down the awning roller to the size that you want for the Tot'r since you need to buy new fabric anyways, the end caps on the rollers just slide over top of the roller, so you would just have to use the chopsaw or even band saw(even portable one) as long as you keep the cut square. Cabinets look top notch. And you can have an up close look at the slide out mechanism for future projects.

Hi Frank, not sure on the video not playing ? I just tried it on a couple different computers and my phone and it played, maybe if someone else is having trouble can chime in. I didn't know about cutting down the awning, I will have to check that out , thanks for the tip . I might have to revisit the slide in the TH, I'll have all the parts needed.

Nice score on the donor.

Frank reload the page. If that fails click the youtube logo and try watching it directly on youtube. Ran fine on both my pone and our laptops here.

Terry there is a product called 30 Seconds. Lowes carries it. Spray it on and in 30 seconds it kills that black moss once and for all. Then just use a pressure washer to clean away the debris. Everyone uses it on their decks and walkways here. That black moss is as common here as oak trees in the NE.

Hi Jay, Thanks for the tip I will check it out, anything the makes things easier is for me Frank, I just had to check out the idea on the awning cut down, that will work I never had the awnings tore down that far to see how they were made, now I understand how easy that will be Thanks again, of course I'll have to make a video cutting one down, then the whole world will know , well maybe a little part of it. Stay Tuned.
