So far that I have seen you haven't done anything that doesn't look amazing

Gosh Terry I like your style and taste (Eleanor's). I am thinking there will soon be a matching paint scheme on the TH. I would vote for that.

Terry,

Like you can see in your mind my Dad used to walk in a house and see what it would look like finished. I got that from him. I worked with him a lot though so I saw his vision come to life. Sometimes he would adjust it but it would always be beautiful. I can walk in a house and see what it will look like when I am done with it. I seem to be doing that with my MH now. I am excited for warm weather so we can do some of those changes.

One of the things I think you do is fix some of the issues you see before you build it and then have to change it again. You and the guys talk it out and then your vision changes and you FIX it before you build. That's just smart. Why do it twice when you can correct it in your mind without all the cost and time spent doing it wrong.

Flames sound great! Eleanor has always had a great eye for color and design so she won't steer you wrong. When you two are done you will have another beautiful one of a kind rig.

Terry, I think your vision and Eleanor's ghost flames will be a killer combo!
And Gordon and Frank, the idea of carrying it onto the TH is good too!
Now we just have to get Popeye to Jays this summer, so we can "Clac" his roof, to fix the leaks! My vision for now, Popeye, is for you to find a V-bottom alum. boat, the length and width of your MH, and strap that bad boy down upside down! That should do it! Who said I don't have "Vision"
Rail!

Rail
That boat idea makes me go HHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Right now I think my plan is pull the AC (like I need that here anytime except July and August) and put a piece of plywood there.
Then before July install a Fantastic.
I haven't seen any signs of the roof sagging like Terry said (like water pooling there) so thinking the roof framing is still at least semi good.
I do have to walk up there to shovel snow so it has some strength .

Getting to Jay's probably isn't happening , still need wheels and tires (switching to 16" from the rare as flying pigs 16.5s , my current are almost 20 yo ) and a set of shocks before even thinking of hitting a highway.
I know this bunch would have it ready for the thousand year flood if I could!!

I'm looking for another summer workamping gig somewhere close , mom is still living on her own so want to be around for whatever is needed.

Hope the docs take it easy on ya and hurry up and give that new rig a road test !!!

Popeye,
You should be able to get a set of wheels off craigslist or ebay to fit your coach relatively reasonable, you might have to sand them and paint, try to get them dismounted so you can do the inside also.
Rail,
I can picture that boat, what an idea.

Good Morning, Waking up to clear skies and cold temps but a promise of warmer temps later next week, now they say maybe 70* by next Wednesday , will be a busy busy week. We are in the process of figuring out the pattern for the rigs Popeye, 16" rims and tires for a chevy chassis, I just checked my parts, I have another set of 16.5's , with bad tires. I will put the word out, you never know around here. Rail, I like your vison

With a pirate flag painted on both sides of the boat! Would the flag be upside down when the boat was taken off for fishing or pirating?

A pirate in an aluminum boat
Captain Jack Popeye(Insert popeye theme here)
I haven't started looking yet , maybe when I get this month's check.
With that warming trend coming my 2 tanks of propane might not need to be refilled again !

Good Afternoon, Well still chilly around here but promises are out there for warming temps. Finished the preps for the front bumper, shot a coat of Epoxy Primer this morning, so its got a greenish tint, but the next step is the finish coats of paint and clear , then install the chicken lights and install on the Tot'r.
