Terry,
That will be good with us, Now we need to find out how many are going to plan on coming. What do you think about starting a new thread for the "Vintage Greet and Meet"?Oops, just reread, the name should be "Goooodmorning Meet and Greet".
Lonesome54,
Good tip, I had forgotten about that one, used it many a time over the years.
Frank

Either should be good for us. Sitting here and trying to estimate how many summer tourists will be out during each time is difficult. I recall at work there seemed to be two groups taking vacation. One was early just after the kids got out from school and the other was as late in August they could get back just before the kids went to school.

I would lean towards the later two weeks in August. If Eleanor is working it would be best to get the time that is best for her. Also the week later date is probably better for Lynne and Jerry. We are retired so anything is good for us.

Just heard this morning that there have been over 1600 structures lost in Fort McMurray. Sad for everyone but especially those who lost everything. Our prayers are with them.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi Terry and the gang!
My feelings on the meet are what works for the majority, is good for us! We can plan for any time frame! And it will give me a good excuse to get Mona out and stretch her legs! I already miss driving her, and it has only been a few days!
Everyone enjoy your day! Rail!

Good Afternoon, Sounds like the later date might work..........(August 14th thru 25th, 2017) Okay we will work on a campsite that will fit all of us and get that info out so we can all make arrangements. It looks like there are alot of state and city parks in the area, not sure of the requirements but will find out.

Just checked with Janet. She is committed to a Red Hat convention from the 24 to the 27. Cannot be changed. We should be able to make some of the first week but will have to be home by August 21. That means we will have to leave by August 19 at latest.

Hey Ron;
As far as I am planning it is in 2017. A bit more than a year away.

Hi All,

Started the "Good Morning Meet and Greet" thread for us to plan our trip. Dates and basic info are there. Anyone have a question or suggestion, please place it there.

This is going to be fun. Lynne

Good Evening, Well it's STILL raining, . I need a shop big enough to get the Tot'r INSIDE . Almost everything I need to do is depending on it not raining. I wish I could just send this up to Alberta where it's really needed,.................. I really don't have any problems when I think about it.

Hi All,

Yea Terry, When you think about what those people in Alberta are going through it makes you realize how little our problems really are. I've always thought it would be great to be able to send the rain and floods from a wet place to a dry place that is in desperate need of the wet. Idea is great, logistics are another thing.

But, we will all meet up in August of 2017 and have a good time. Bap, sure wish you and Debbie could come. Haven't figured out how far it is for us yet, but I sure want to meet up with all of you. Someday though, Jerry and I will be coming your way and we will meet.

Talk with you all later, have a good night. Lynne
