Really great haul on the donor. Did you happen to find an inverter? That would be a big bonus. I prefer the same size double sinks like in the donor.

Nicely appointed and looks to be in really good shape. Will work very well in the TH.

Interior looks like it was very well taken care of. I like Gordon's idea of using the cabinets in the garage and having new to fit in the kitchen.
HH prayers are with you and Janet.

Wow, Terry! The donor has all kinds of things you can use! So between what you took out of the TH to start with and what you will get from the donor, you will have just about everything you will need to complete your transformation! This is the fun part, you and the dw get to pick out and plan how to make it just how you want! Gordon, sorry to hear about Janet, and the set back to her hip surgery. Tell her not to worry, think positive, and it will be ok! I am in the final steps of prostate cancer treatment myself. I start 3d radiation on the 10th at a hospital in Bangkok! My prostate has been removed by a robot with the Dr.'s help. Now 6 weeks of radiation therapy, just 15 min's a day, and I will be good as new!
Terry, I looked for the pic's of that trailer today on my old phone micro sd. card. 1800 pic's, and not there, so they may be on my camera? Go figure? Who uses their camera anymore? (CFC) Good one! Thunderfoot, Rail!

Good morning all, HH, all I found was a Magnetek 6300, 35 amp. Gordon, we have sat in it much like you have suggested to imagine wht it would be like to spend time in itFrank I don't know why the insides of the donor are in good shape, the roof was coming off !! as I was driving down the road . Rail, good luck on your journey, its great fun getting old, but then again, the alternatives are not good. I know about the camera, DW uses one when we travel, she loves to take all kinds of pics. I just use my phone then email them to my laptop, The hauler has its new name!

I think the Magnetek is just a switch for between shore power & generator.

HH, this also has/is a Converter/battery charger, all the breakers and fuses for the unit. When I plugged in shore power (there is no battery in the trailer) all the 12volt dc "stuff" works.

Things a little slow here, I finally installed the rear bumper I built, now I will be able to take it for a test run, as long as the weather holds. Its hooked up ready to roll.

Looks good Terry, that wing on top of the sleeper is going to look amazing.

Thanks Frank, Over the winter here I will be building the wing and if I get the chance some more "trick" parts, I am building the rear bed w/a compartment for a genset. Maybe some body parts, like a visor for the windshield. I also need to trim the sleeper just below the roof line and around the bottom to match the 5th wheel.

Terry,

Have you thought about a Murphy bed for the space constraints? It really looks good, you've done a great job.

Hi Lynne, DW has looked at Murphy beds for yrs for the S&B and the kids rooms, they grew up and are gone , so she hasn't looked for awhile, she has mentioned them when she saw some in RV's, with this new "donor" rv our floor plan is (I think) set, Finally . That is unless we see something else . I keep telling DW that at some point it WILL be set in stone, when the build progresses passed the point of no return and I start putting wiring and plumbing and cutting holes. This is the donor rv, if you look at the pic. the cabinet on the right (where the sofa is) we will have three ft after that, so we are looking at a single "flip" chair that comes out into a bed, under that chair will be the hot water heater. Across from that will be an extending table (from the sink cab) that can fold down to make room, the door into the garage will be in the center. Of course the master bedroom is over the 5th wheel. Any ideas?

HH, Yep it is and its in like new condition, unfortunatly it is too long for the TH's area, so it's going to be recovered and used in the sleeper of the hauler in place of the bed so we can set down or sleep as we travel or go on day trips away from the TH.
