Terry,
Yes you probably have a mile long list of things to do, but as you check off each one, before you know it that list will be whittled down to next to nothing.

Perfect example of retirement. Work just as hard (or harder) but the pay is really low.

Hey Terry,
Sorry haven't posted on my MH fiberglass project. I started yesterday and got my air sander out and started sanding the junk the PO used and 120 grit didn't touch it so I went to 80 grit and have had success. I just forgot to take the after pictures. Joe showed me how to put them on here so hoping I can do it and they will show up... LOL. I'm going to run to Wally world and check out what I need in a couple hours. Yes on a face mask. I learned about them when sanding the mud (Joint Compound) on new sheetrock, man that gets in even with a mask. will post the pic's soon. This sanding is something I have done at work but with sheetrock.
Thanks again terry, and your project are looking good, I hope to have the same success, might look good from a distance anyway.!!!!lol

Tim,
Glad to see that you are tacking the fiberglass job. Take your time and make sure that it is smooth when done, and it will look good.

Good Morning, Thanks, Gordon, isn't that the truth. Tim, If it was me and you have the time I would remove all the junk the previous owner had put in there so you can do it right, if you need to remove the taillight you can reconstruct the area using the other light for a guide. Not sure what we can get done today need to go to a retirement get together for a buddy, 40 some yrs at the same job. We put up another video in the Chevy restore series.

Tim, yup that'll work use the matting to hold it all together and the cloth to give it strength and depth.

Evening,
Out at brothers for the weekend. last time we were here for a month and 1/2...LOL
Got out late no traffic at all it was very strange a Friday night and no traffic. Borrowed my neighbor's trailer to bring the cub cadet home, it follow the old PA mighty nice.
Went to the Wally world out here and guess what not 1 item for fiberglass repair... It was a beautiful night for a drive.
Going to the Flea Market in the am so We will go thru a few towns so I will keep my eyes pealed. Maybe one of the parts store has some like NAPA.

Morning everyone. Hope this day finds you well or healing. Tim, the fiberglass rfepair pieces should be easy to find. At Wallyworld it would be in auto or hardware. And most auto parts places would carry it. And Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, et al. Including a couple of pictures of the wheel well trim that I need to repair.
