Terry, good job on the rocker panel and video. So glad my parents chose to not live in the rust belt.

Good Afternoon, Frank, Ron, Thanks, Life is certainly interesting vehicle wise up here, a vehicle's life depends on if the suspension points are rusted out or not. When I had an inspection station we always had vehicles that wouldn't pass because of a rusted out component somewhere on it. We got the driver's side rocker and cab corner on today, need to finish both when I take off the door and box later.

Yep, the salt eats them up quick. I do some rust work but only on friends/family. Can eat a lot of hours to do repairs the right way. Have done a couple cab swaps using southern parts. Not really hard to do, just takes time.

Terry - Nice work on the rockers/cab corner. Must be some of the better slip-ons, some of them are so bed you'd swear they were for a different make :-)

Have you ever looked at Arthur Tussiks YT channel? He's over in Lithuania and rebuilds some nasty wrecks, and even gets some of the insurance totals from the US.

Good Morning, Happy 4th of July All. Steve thanks, My body shop did mostly 4X4 work we did alot of fiberglass bodies on jeeps and work on trucks, (lifts ect,) I got these slip on parts from Keystone, the cab corners are "almost" a good fit they need a little massaging but in places that don't show. I'll check out that channel thanks.

Terry,
It still amazes me that you do more in a day than a lot of shops do. And the work is better.

Off your rocker!!

Harley,I enjoyed your video and learned a lot. I am in Niagara Falls,NY. We get the same wicked winter weather that you do. Salt galore on the roads. Some time soon I will take the truck to our body shop guy and see what he says. Here in Niagara Falls you can get a house off the tax auction for $10.000 or less. Of course it may need a lot of work$ updates. I have a wonderful view of a burned out house across from me. Looking forward to your next video.

Good Morning, Thanks Sam, do you get the lake effect snows where you are? they can be some awful stuff. Good luck on the body shop trip. Temps are supposed to be going up this week (at least for here) temps in the 90's, not complaining, it's a long cold winter. More of the same for today filling and sanding.

Terry,
It won't be long and your old shop truck will look like a new one, and then you won't want to use it as a shop truck any more, lol.

Good Evening, Frank, That can be a problem, LOL. Here's a pic of Eleanor and Granddaughter taking off on a ride.........I stayed and worked , that's the problem with a single track mind, I get going and don't want to stop. And that's all I have just mundane sanding and prep.

Frank - he probably will find another old one to use as a shop truck and turn it into a new vehicle!

Yeah Gordon, I think you might be right on that.
Terry,
You should have went riding, you would have been in a much better frame of mind to finish the mundane.
Frank
