Terry the truck is looking good. I have a couple vehicles that could use a fresh coat of paint.

I need some of yalls advice... the last few days my a/c on my tt has been making a God awful rattling sound. It stops if just the fan is on. It's so loud you can't have a conversation inside the tt. Luckily it's still blowing cold air, because no ac in Texas is no fun! Any ideas?

Mark, We have this fun going back and forth, always good natured, I just happen to have almost always had Harleys or an old Indian, there have been a few excursions along the way. I have a softail that has been made into a bagger with all Harley parts so yup I understand how hard it is to find parts to do that , I'm also in the process of building an FXR into a bagger for my wife, it'll be sorta like a Switchback. Your bikes sound very nice . Texas, it sounds like something in the compressor unit, I would pull your cover and check inside, maybe something came loose inside. Be interesting to know for sure.

Terry,

From reading your original post all the way through, I certainly get the "fun factor". It was a big part of making the read interesting. I have also seen the pics of your Softail. Very Nice! I like it. Almost "had" to go for the Classic to please the DW. She doesn't ride and is not interested in learning. Just had to have that BIG rear perch on the Classic, HER seat.

One last one on the bikes, as that is not what this post is about.

Here is pic of my Softail with Bushtec Turbo trailer attached. We were in our way to ride over the Hoover Dam before that part of it was permanently closed to traffic. I do have a pic on the dam, if you're interested.

Nothing wrong with a Harley painted red. I have seen a few in my travels. If we would have called it Mysterious Red everything would have been fine. It is just the same color as Honda Red. BTW - Honda Red is easier to spell. LOL

HD - nice bike. We do a fair bit of touring as well with out bikes.

Gordon,

Thanks! My main ride is the Classic, full tilt touring bike in Pearl Blue and Black and Yes, I have seen them in red as well.

Oh well, I decided to tell you that once upon a time in my MC life, I owned a 1983 GL1100 Wing, Rootbeer Brown, had a sidecar on it for when my DD was quite young. Next up was the Pearl White 1990 GL1500SE and I must say, that was one heck of a bike.

I actually bought it from a HD guy who said his conscience was too much to bear. THAT bike came with the Bushtec. He had let go of the trailer due to not having a bike anymore to match it. A big loss for him and a huge gain for me.

Possibly one future day we can all meet up for a camp and a ride.

Good Morning, Mark, Nice trailer, when DW and I went touring for a few years I had a side car that we used as a place to put our "stuff" my GD rode in it starting at 2 yrs old. I would put the side car back on except the TH won't fit two bikes with one having a side car. Riding is the main focus for having the TH now that I can't ride long distance comfortably, I will enjoy meeting up with all that want to ride. One of my goals is meeting up with Gordon in Canada and riding, never been to Canada. Well going to be a hot one again today (around 90* and humid) so gotta get going.

Hey Terry,
Did my first fiberglass patch today. Looks pretty good. I used to mud walls(joint compound) at work so I'm pretty good getting it smoothed and feathered out. Most afraid of not getting hardener correct when mixing a batch. I going back to watch your video again. Thanks again for producing it.
Tim

I still think it would have went well in the tub/shower enclosure of the toy hauler.

Well actually, it could be used A LOT more. Just say'in!

Good Morning, Frank, Thanks, Mark, I like choices . Tim, On the fiberglass mixing, don't stress over getting the mix right, in a cup full you only need 5 or 6 drops that will do it, too much and it hardens faster. Lloyd, No no no . LOL Tim, we are talking about painting Honda Red

Yup - if we called it Mysterious Red it would OK as that is a Harley color. However Honda Red is easier to spell. I guess they call it mysterious red because they cannot figure out why it is the same color as Honda Red.

So Terry - the shower would look good in Mysterious Red.

This is so fun!!! LOL
