I think they are all about the same. They need to sell parts and new vehicles to stay in business.

Just finished polishing Janet's car. What a difference. It looked great under the fluorescent lighting so it should look better in the sun. Was going to take it outside to see but - it is raining!! Need the moisture.
Braved the elements to go out and dig some new potatoes. And picked enough peas for dinner tonight.

Rail,
Been trying to talk Terry into taking Eleanor and GD out to go camping, even if it is just up the road, they have both been working way too hard and they haven't been out since they were with you and Jira. I've been trying to tell him, what good is doing all that work if it is only going to sit there and not be used.
I need some help to get him to listen, lol.
Frank

Yes, Frank, I know!! It has been that long for me too, and I am missing it bad! I also think Terry and Eleanor and GD, need to get out and relax a bit too! If it was not so far for me, I would have already come back and went out for some forced relaxation!
It just sounds like everything has not fell into place for them to do so, and I can understand that too! There are some very beautiful camping spots up there where he lives, so they do not have to go very far, to enjoy!
I used to haul a show load up to the Rome, NY. area every year for the Boeing Co., and stay for 5/7 days, then haul it back! Always rented a car, and when exploring when I was up there! There were 5 or 6 trucks of us that did this every year, plus I hauled to the casino up there too, so very familiar with the area! It is a very nice area, for sure!
So, Terry and Eleanor, better get to planning a trip, before the weather gets to bad!! And Enjoy!! Rail!

Good Morning, Frank, when I had the auto shop we would see these PU come thru and they all had rusted frames ect it's just the nature of living here in the land of salt and the new stuff which is a liquid that is activated by water so it gets everywhere while driving then every time it rains (even in summer) it starts eating away. There is a whole cottage industry for fixing the frames. Gordon, no pics it didn't happen!! Rail, Yup I'm hoping to get back to working on the Tot'r after the PU is done, in some ways was holding off in case we wanted to go somewhere (with the Tot'r and TH) we are hoping to go somewhere not sure where just yet . Rail, your right here in Upstate NY we have some very beautiful areas to go to, not that far away. Well yesterday was interesting, (as usual) went to another shop to setup a flatbed trailer axle swap (bumper pull) and weld all the attachments for the springs ect., gotter done Then came home and helped son fix his truck, Lower ball joint wheel bearing, and front brakes got done around 10 pm last night, always fun around here, I never know what I'll be doing.

Terry,
Ohio was using the brine solution on the roads to precoat also, and I agree with you, it makes a mess underneath. Glad that you guys are going to try to get out and go somewhere, you need the break.
Have a great day,
Frank

Terry was it you that coined that saying? "no pics it didn't happen" Finally going too try and get some more damage repair, Finally got the brushes, acetone, and mesh. Is there a need to lightly sand what I have applied already (like between coats/layers) I bought a couple of cutting wheels for the angle grinder for after I remove the taillight housing to cut that mess out.
Thanks again,
Tim

Tim, nope , it was Gordon, He's the famous "no pics it didn't happen" I would scuff the glass you laid down to put more on top since it has sat for a while. looks like the next couple of days are rain here, we have 2" already overnight. I forgot one other thing from yesterday, the guy that ordered his parts got the wrong axle tubes for his trailer, (too short).........but guess what! They are the right ones for the 5th wheel flatbed project I started but haven't finished, (that's a surprise) so I purchased them for 75 bucks apiece (these are new Dexter 7000lbs. axle tubes) . still need to get the hubs ect.

Good morning guys;
I don't think it was me but I will take the credit. I guess I am busted. Going to polish Janet's bike today so will be taking the car out so we have more room.
Just warning you all up front to put your sun glasses on because we will be backing the car out of the garage in about an hour. That bright glow you see in the north west is just the car. LOL.
Picture to follow.

Gordon, I believe I saw a glow in the north west . We have the material to build the one crossmember, another score from my setup and welding trip yesterday, so when the weather clears we will be building that.
