Tim,
Great find, I would tear it apart and replace the washers before you install. For what you paid for it, you can afford to go first class, lol.
Terry,
Looking better and better with each pic. As I said before, I am really happy that you and Eleanor are going out in the TH, you guys really deserve the break.
Later,
Frank

Thanks Frank,
I appears pretty new. Knobs are tight. I like the idea of the faucet pulls out to rinse the sink out or when washing a large pot or pan.
Looking good Terrie enjoy you getaway with the wife.
I'm getting ready to hit the rear of the PA today the sun is finally back out and its dry.

Terry Here are a couple of Pic's of todays work. Its the first coat of resign and cloth with paint mixed in. Personally I think it looks good... & the color is really close on the bottom 1'2 from a distance....
It's already starting to dry so I'm hoping it will work.
I still have more to fill with cloth/matt. I'm gaining confidence. Your all right take your time.
The saga continues...
Tim

Good Morning, Tim, you'll get it looks good, just a little practice. Getting ready to paint the base coat on the PU this morning, right now waiting for it to warm up, 43* in the paint booth this AM, so we fired up the Halogen lights , it don't take long with 8 1000 watt lights to heat up.

Tim,
I knew that you could do it, with a little more blending and sanding, you won't be able to tell that there was anything wrong . Nice Job Bud.
Nice Terry, I know that you will be glad to get all the color on and give it a few days to harden up before the clear.
Frank

Well done Tim. Looking forward to seeing the finished product in Yuma. That is unless you change vehicles.

Did you straighten the bumper as well? It is looking good.

Terry - wear sunglasses and sun screen.

Base coat DONE. Now after we get back from our little get away more sanding and spraying pearl and clear, feeeuuuu, I don't know how I painted enamel paint when I first started doing body work , of course It was over 40 years ago, (I might have been in better shape then), I wanted to do this just to prove a point that you could take enamel paint and still have it look good after, won't do it too much in the future, other than the equipment. Frank, I tried to time it so it will be ready to clear ect. when we get back, love it when a plan finally goes right . Popeye, I need lots of light when I paint, If I had more they would have been in there . Gordon, agree on the sunscreen, it's like a tanning booth in there .

Terry, That looks great. Did you use the SATA HVLP gun for that? Just curious how you like that gun now that you may have had more time to "play" with it.

43F? The morning low here was about 77F. Forecast is for 91F again today. It probably will not cool down until September/October.

Tim, Looking good. Follow their advice and take your time. You're doing fine.
