Knee replacement

Thanks for all the encouragement on the knee surgery. I have no control when my body decides to produce an infection. The Dr. thinks i may have a piece of hernia screen floating around in my abdomen that causes a huge infection. This will not show up on an xray. My protocal is to have antibiotics on hand at all times at home. It also causes my wbc to go low.Slightly low is my normal. I have to take the antibiotics for a sore throat. Usually I can go 5to6months without a flare up. I tried PT for my knee and it gave me excruciating pain. I move as much as possible with a cane. Tomorrow I have an apt. to tour the rehab facility. I always take care of my other when she is sick. She can be a chalenge with her mouth. Then my siblings say know it all comments. I call my one sister "miss Prissy" as she lives in another state and makes light of the amt. of time and care I give my mother. Aren't family dynamics fun!! I have one brother who thanks me for taking care of my mother.

Good Morning, Gordon, I have to go back once a year to have my knees checked, that way if there is a problem they can fix it easily. Lloyd, I'm waiting for a full body transfer, . Popeye, LOL, hmmm I think I'll leave this one up to them. Sam, the hospital I had mine done in had a separate wing just for replacements, the nurses were all trained just to work there, very good experience. I was out in one day. Good luck on all of it. Cool and windy here they keep saying rain but haven't seen it yet, messes with my plans . emptied all the tanks on the TH yesterday, (I have a dump station here), now need to winterize . Hope to paint some parts for sons truck today.

Hey Terry no has posted in a couple of days on this thread lol everyone must be busy....lol...

Got a wild hair and started a project in my 5th wheel....the crappy pressed wood they used for the counter top warped from the humidity down here so I pulled it out and am replacing it with 3/4 sanded cabinet grade plywood....here are a couple of pictures

the first one is the bad one and the second one is where it came from....lol...pulling this apart really shows the poor quality of cabinetry in my unit....but it is what it is and by using better materials I will make it better..will try to put the new plywood in tomorrow and will take a couple of more pics...have to order the Formica so the project won't be done for a few more weeks until it comes in...

Good Evening, Nice project MK!, I think most of the RV's today can be "upgraded" with these types of items, counter tops are a major improvement IMO. I really dislike the press board that they seem to like to use. Will be waiting for final pics ! I'm busy getting ready for winter here, would love to be down there for the winter months, but can't leave the wife here, (she still has to work) I'd find the locks changed when I came back if I did .

Nice MK, hope that you can get things in soon. I am looking forward to seeing more. We are lucky, we have solid surface countertops.

Rail,
My guess would be early to mid 50's. And yes they are cool.

It is a old Ford truck with right hand drive, and a PU bed! Late model motor! Rail!
PS, here is a pic looking in the trailer! There is a couch to the R. and a booth/bed to the L. and a portable A/C too!

Good Morning, MK, I'm sure your doing a great job as well, Rail, that looks to be a '56' Ford real nice Here in the states I think it would have been what they said back then a ton and a half or two ton truck. love those trailers. I had a 1950 Ford pickup with an 80 HP flathead and a three on the tree shifter would love to have that now. Been cool here last few days and drizzly not rainy all the time just enough to make it miserable. supposed to be better next week. Have my next car trailer restore vid ready to upload hopefully today.

Well have the new base for the counter installed and the sink is just sitting in the opening....but until I get the new Formica it will remain in a state of disrepair ....

I had previously removed the dinette and turned that into a desk area...works better for us...so all that is left to do is the Formica reinstall the sink and resecure the stove....will post pictures later just getting warm and needed to cool off a bit

Another great video Terry, haven't seen anyone use one of those brake sizing tools for quite a while, I was brought up using them, but never got one for myself, everything that I hve now is disk, so no longer need it.
