Well I started this project back last September or October. I had to make new countertops for the fifth wheel cause the old one separated. I waited four months for my wife's nephew to cover the new tops with the Formica but alas no luck. So I went and got my stuff back and called a friend of mine and he helped me cut and cover the new tops. So I know you have to have pictures and I finally got some so here they are.Click image for larger version

Nice choice of laminate color/pattern. Also, very nice design and execution on the rounded corners.

Also, you probably picked up a new skill in the process.

Love the counter tops

Looks like you and your friend did an excellent job. The choice of material is pleasing to my eye.

I have always had a good eye for color combos.....What the wife and I are both surprised about is the black edging that was peel and stick PVC....How well it finnished it off instead of using the Formica for the edge...

Funny thing is that you need a router to trim the Formica, after it's glued down....But it was originally an 8x4 sheet that had to be cut into manageable pieces and for that we just used a pair of upolstrey siscors ....Lol.....

It took me a month of figuring and stress trying get that done but my friend said let's try the siscors and see how it works and I tell you just go slow and it's fine..

Well there were the two big pieces that he and I did but the two smaller ones I did cause they were in the RV and his shop is down in Conroe about 35 miles south of me and I couldn't take the RV down there with the pasture so wet....Lol....The truck got a weeks vacation out in the pasture stuck in the mud...Lol..

Enough rambling for now take care everyone...

Good Morning, MK, I know you've had that project in the works for awhile now, looks great! And knowing you did yourself makes it all the sweeter.

Nice job MK, not only a great install, but good color combo, the trim really sets the whole thing off.

Good Morning, Well still waiting for spring here, woke up this morning to snow on the ground, it flurried all day yesterday. It might start warming next week. We've been under a flood warning with several inches of rain. So I'm collecting parts in anticipation of warmer weather.
