Good evening, I think I need a job, I worked less, LOL. just getting in 9:00 pm started at 5:30 this morning, phew. Well thought I should fire up the Tot'r and let it warm up and I was wiring the electrical compartment, I wanted to test a few things, long story short I noticed that I wasn't charging, , yup I checked a few things quick tonight but it didn't decide to fix itself so I guess we add it to the list, it was getting shorter, .

Good Afternoon, Several people ask me why I like the truck style for an RV rather that a Motor Home..........this is one reason, being able to easily work on it, we had the Alternator sitting on the tire in less than 15 minutes, it takes that long just to find it in the cramped confines of most MH. We went to the local truck shop, we know him well from other walks of life. he had one in stock, .

Advantages and disadvantages as in about everything. The biggest problem with a class A is that you either have to crawl underneath or down from the top. There is very little working from the side like on the truck chassis. Glad that you got to get it fixed before you left rather than on the side of the road.

Hi Frank, Yup your right on the advantages and disadvantages for sure, the fellow that runs the shop had one alternator left like the one we needed, the one we took off was a rebuilt 100 amp the one we put back on was a brand new Delco 160 amp for 200.00 . Would've cost a whole bunch more on the road, PLUS we where talking to him and he has the upgrade parts we need to boost the power a little as in bigger turbo, and injectors ect. Hmmm may have to keep it for a little while.

Good Afternoon, Wow, we were all over the map today, had a couple of helpers so took advantage, . Andy, (son) helped yesterday and today, he washed the roof of the TH, and Eleanor washed the TH AND the Tot'r by hand, , scrubbing black streaks and grime, it really shows, of course it's supposed to rain tomorrow but it still needed to be done. Butch, (he's coming to the M&G) cut trim as I installed it, still have some more trimming to do but ran out for now, need to make more. Started planning wood for a back splash. Almost done,
