Understand the working around. My Dad and I built a 40' bus into a RV. Did all of the work (winter) in the bus including building the cabinets, etc from mahogany. Just kept at it and one thing after the other came into line.

Had to be really careful to do things in a logical order so did not have to take stuff already installed out to install the stuff that should have been installed first. LOL

Cant tell which is worse: my math or my typing skills. The number should be 3200 mile detour, not 2200.

Good Morning, Gordon, its only an extra 1000 mi, a drop in the bucket, that is quite a ways for a detour. I'm not sure at this point we have found a place yet or not, did a little research last night and (I'm new to this CG thing) I didn't find any CG that had a good rating close to Cullman, I don't know how anyone picks a CG, maybe thats a good topic for another thread. Thanks Frank.

I use Woodall's, online, then look at the pictures that are available on the website. I have had fairly good luck that way. A lot depends on what you want to do while you are there. Most of the time I am just staying overnight, or for a day or two. If I am going to be in the area for a week or two, then I use a little different criteria. It has worked for me for over a year.

I'm a total lurker on this thread, but if y'all are looking for a place in northern Alabama, look around Cheaha Mountain in the Talladega National Forest. Nice area up there, but watch out for all the Bama fans...

You cvan also look the CG up on Google Earth. There's usually enough resolution to see if your kind of CG or not.

Hi, Tim, Yep there is one outlet on the right, side if you look at post # 689 the middle pic you can just see the outlet. When I build the wall that separates the garage and cabin area, on that wall will be another, but also right there I am putting a USB outlet charger and 12 volt power as well. The plan is to build a small bench, depending how much room I have, it might be built to collapse against the wall. I need to make room for tool storage as well.

I didn't buy that class C I was looking at. Whole wall behind the frig needs replaced & part of the floor. So the search continues.

HH, Its best sometimes to run not walk from some deals. I have seen alot of RV's with damage in that area, it seems to be a real weak spot for water intrusion.

On my 82 PA the water can get into that area also there is a louver access Door/panel. I am sure when it rain's it gets wet. It appears (Plywood floor under the fridge) to still be in good shape. I took a can of that stuff advertised on the TV that they put holes in the bottom of the boat then spray it with this product and it didn't sink. I sprayed a good layer under the fridge and so far it remains sealed. I guess it doses work.

Good afternoon Tim, It's gonna be real nice to have a work bench , you would think that by now they would think of a better way of making access to the frig. I will use pressure treated wood in that area, and seal that, the stuff you used is a good idea ! I guess you don't have to worry about your frig. sinking!!
