Did a bit of searching to see but could not find any information on width. Did find some issues about low CCC. Lazy Days recently sold one for under 14,000. Not sure what it was as the price was stroked, appeared to be a consignment because that was the asking price. Did a brief sidetrack into trying to look at the owners manual but the earliest I found was 2001.

None of this means much as I only looked for a couple minutes.

I like Ron's idea of turquoise.

I would guess that it is a wide body, by the amount of room beside the bed on both sides. I could be wrong but a tape measure will tell the tale.

Well, finally located keys and owner in the same spot, so we looked over the MH..........Motor runs great, running gear seems to be in good shape for the year, air bags have been changed, some other mechanicals, the bad.... there is signs of some water in various areas on the walls not the ceiling, I did not get to the roof, (didn't want to go up the ladder) but I suspect the caulking has not been done in many years. the drivers window has been leaking and the wall right there needs replacing and window gaskets are dried out and shrunk. One other thing there was inside the pocket door for the bedroom was an amount of rusted metal debris,? metal framing rusted out? without removing the door so you can get inside that area I couldn't tell. So bottom line is unless I can get it for considerably less money it's a pass. Oh it's 98" wide

Sorry Terry, that is why pics do not always tell the tale.

That's for sure Frank, we're really not "looking" for a coach, this one just kinda fell in our lap, might have taken advantage if things where right.

You could be luckey on water damage as it was stored under cover. Cheack the datecode on tires. Does the genarater run? Do they have any maintence records? Probbabley not.
Well happy negochiating.

Terry, the metal debris in the pocket door could be from the framing, or the track for the door. Remember, these coach's are made with the semi monaque (sp) construction! Full steel cage surrounding the coach! Window leaks can be easly fixed, no wood to rot, other than the luan inside! 98 inches out side, or inside? That is a wide body i think! This model will have a fiberglass roof, pretty sure!
The price can be negotiated, but these models sell from 12K to 20k, depending on condition! With a little work you could make some money! Does it have the 6 speed Allison (3060)?
How about the tires?
If it needs too many things done, you can get buryed quickly!
See what the bottom dollar is, do some research and see where you come out!
It having the 8.3, not the 5.9, means it was optioned out when it was ordered, so it may have a lot of good stuff!
70K miles is not even broken in yet!
Good luck, Rail!

Just something to look at as far as asking prices.

Get a free tape measure at Harbor Freight and keep it in your truck. Took me some years before I did this. Only you can decide if this motor home is for you. The guys have given you good sound advice on what to check out.

The 93 that Terry is looking at is the last year of that body style, retro style, different caps, (ft. and rear) different compartment doors and latches, the bones are still the same thou!
The prices for these older Monaco's are all over the place, and the bottom line is what you can get out of each coach! Rail!

Good Morning, Hi Bill, the MH was kept under a pole barn, (the same one that the 5th wheel was that I converted to a TH) The fellow was an old equipment operator, and knew the advantages of maintenance so he kept up on that, but like alot of people didn't have a clue about caring for the roof and seals. He has passed away and his wife has no clue as to any records. Thanks for the links. Sam, the MH has just under 94,000, and LOL I have probley 5 HF tapes that I haven't even opened yet, that's not including the ones that are everywhere, . Every time I would go near the place I would get one. Rail, I have let the owner set for a while, she wants to sell it in the worse way, and will put it back away under the shed this weekend if not sold, kinda stubborn she paid 168,000 new so has a hard time seeing it go so "cheap"
