Good Morning, hi Bill, Popeye answered for me, LOL, we are looking to go up there Columbus day weekend, we didn't call and see if they will be open! But if we can still check them out it would be good, need to check if Poland Spring will be open? Guess I should do that! Thanks Popeye for the heads up! We'll have to get together for coffee

When you talk South Coast I think of places like.
Wells Beach Resort Campground
1000 Post Rd, Wells, ME 04090
wellsbeach.com
(207) 646-7570
or
Moody Beach RV Campground,
266 Post Rd, Wells, ME 04090
rvonthego.com
(207) 646-4586
We attended a rally there about 4 years ago with the Granite Staters.
We generally stay near N. Portland/ Freeport area.
Blueberry Pond Campground or Cedar Haven Family Campground.
This last trip we were also a little further North near Bethel at.
Stony Brook Recreation.
I would advise calling places to find out if you can get in and when they close for the season.

Bayley's is at Old Orchard Beach so touristy coast deluxe like the places you listed at the top of your post...though those 2 are very close to the ocean !

Those near Freeport. , I just picked Wolfes Neck Farm instead for it's unique atmosphere and , like the others , I am familiar with it . I've workamped at them all.

Oh , and I probably could be there for the M&G. too

P. Sprgs and Lake Pemaquid are bit more relaxed lake atmosphere , a little more away from the crowds. I picked them for the other side of the coin if desired.. Activity calendars at each place are a good way to judge the average noise levels vs time of day...

and Poland Springs has a casino just up th' road in Oxford if any there's gamblers in the bunch.

The "season" up here is basically 10 weeks so all prices are going to be higher $ than more southern locations.

There are hundreds of Campgrounds in Maine. If a more remote location is desired please check others out.
Just draw a line through Rangeley , Greenville and Calais.
Everything above that is "uptah camp" in the north woods , and everything below it is....well Southern Maine . Which is looking more like some other state every day..

Terry

We had a rally at Red Apple Camp Ground. In Kennybunk area. Nice facilities. Let us use the meeting room. Spotless place, great owners. They set us up close together and gave us most of the pull thru sites. Highly recommended.

Terry,

Let me know when you go visit the CG's and then I will work on the M&G 2019. Would be good to have visits ahead of time.

Good morning! Wow, haven't posted in awhile, it doesn't look like we are going to get to Maine, ): this fall, just not enough time in a day. This time of year is always very busy, getting ready for winter, we usr pellets for heat so getting 4 tons inside, servicing the stove, then getting the truck ready to plow ect. Lots more stuff to do than that but you get the idea! Mostly just me to do the work, Eleanor is still working so she helps nights and weekends.

Us too! Not sure how we did it when we were working as it seems to jump at us about now. Managed to get the carrots out of the garden yesterday and level the load of topsoil we got for it so something done. Looking around the list seems enormous. Going to be a busy day. Looks like the weather will moderate for a few days so pitter patter!!

Well double workout today, just out of the gym and at 10:30 our pellets are supposed to be delivered, 200 40lb bags dropped off at the door, and they need to be brought inside!

The only positive is that they are not 100 80lb bags [emoji27]. Go easy.
