Hi Gordon, I most likely will go with the surface mount, I just don't know about cutting into the flooring, I have worked with E Track in the car trailers, just have to pick up my feet!! I would like to use the garage area as living space when the bikes are out, so I will figure out how to hook other items to the E Track like tables ect, maybe,....... I'll figure that when I get there.

Terry,

Have you put a picture of your first post and the one above side by side to see the difference? WOW

Eleanor, wonderful job on the painting, I Love It! Looks great! Have you ever painted with a feather duster. It gives a definite pattern too.

Keep it up you two, looks great! Lynne

Franka548,

I do follow the thread and know you plan to meet. I do not have my MH "YET" so depending on when you meet and if I have it yet, I may just show up. I keep looking but haven't found the right one yet and I am too old for a tent.

I think that you guys have gotten close on this thread and with many of the same interests and knowledge that you will meet more than once. We will see when we get out MH. Meanwhile I just keep enjoying this thread.

Lynne

WOW ! just WOW!
On second thought I'll add NICE!

That rig is going to be WAY better than anything from a factory .
And EXACTLY the way you want it too.........

Paint looks great and really finishes up the toy room.
I can't wait to see your ideas on mounting stuff to the tracks.

Lynne,
Even if you don't have the MH yet, come anyways, there are a ton of inexpensive motels around Geneva within 10 miles of where we will be staying. This site is all about commodore and friendship, so please, by all means if possible, join us, we will be glad to welcome you aboard.

Good Evening, Hi Lynne, when I finally get the TH done I thought I would park it where it all started to get a picture and post a before and after shot, be kinda neat. I don't think she has tried a feather duster, be something to try, many many years ago I used lace to paint motorcycle tanks ect. My first one I used one of my mothers lace doilies, thought she was going to kill me , I can still see it. LOL. Eleanor says Thanks! I hope to meet alot of the nice people that have contributed, while I'm trying to build the TH. Popeye, Thank You, The rest of the living area is going to be painted, with the same techniques, but way different colors, alot more muted, and neutral. I like the idea of making something do more than one thing, so if I can use the E Track as a mount for somehing else that I need it would be great.

Terry and Eleanor;
The picture of the TH sitting in the yard with the light shining through the window is great. It looks really welcoming. I can picture returning from a ride and seeing the TH sitting there waiting for you.

The recessed track in the stacker sits up about 1/8 inch. Both are rounded so there is not a straight edge to catch you if do do forget to pick up your feet. If you remove the rings either will be good, leave the rings and prepare to stub a toe occasionally.

Good Morning, Gordon, I snapped that picture as I was walking in to the house around 4:30 pm, it just struck me like you with the lights shining thru the window. Two more windows to go, in the bedroom area over the 5th wheel. I have to reframe for those, supposed to "warm" up friday and I should be getting another shipment of butyl tape in today, yesterday I got 500 stainless steel #8 screws in the mail, so maybe I can get the last two windows in this weekend, keeping my fingers crossed. I am keeping track of how many screws and how many feet of butyl tape it is taking to build a TH, be an interesting trivia fact. Today I'm continuing on the right side wall area putting in electric, figuring where the hole has to go for the stove vent ect. Have a good day .

Looking good man, I really like those narrow/long windows. They are rare too see. I like them because they are different than most MH windows plus they just look nice.

Hi Tim, Thanks, I like them also, and where they are located I can't put a window of any size that goes the other way, so I get the best of both worlds, I have one on both sides now.

Looking mighty good Terry, you will be done before you know it and biting at the bit to go try her out. You might not want to know how many screws that you have used, lol.
I agree with the long thin windows, really fits with the rest of the trailer.

Morning Frank, I think once I get all the windows in so I can figure out what its going to look like, I can have some graphics put on the sides to tie it all together, of course on the TV too, to match. Heck, I want to try it out now .!!
