Terry, a cover for over one of the sinks gives extra counter space when preparing a meal.
And where is the coffee pot going?

Hi HH, Good idea, I need to make a couple of covers for the sink, you can't see it yet (I need to build it) but on the right side of the cabinet there will be a fold down counter that will stretch about 3ft and create a counter when parked. Eleanor, says we are putting up a wall mounted coffee pot (I didn't even know they made them)

I've seen expensive units , $200+, that water lines are attached to. They are all space savers though.

Down side is some reports of damage from them from the humidity from the hot coffee. My cure for that is to make the coffee & then turn it off. Put the hot coffee in a thermos or carafe.

Terry and Eleanor,

OK, bear with me here. The folding table here, imagine what it would look like after Eleanor finished painting something Harley on it. SO, if you don't figure out a way to incorperate it within the door, how about making brackets on the side wall in the garage (if you have the room) and mount it there so that Eleanor still gets a table for use outside and it does not cause an issue with the door.

Eleanor could paint the Harley logo on it, or do checks, or stripes, or whatever she came up with. With it mounted on the wall, it would be out of the way when working and moving around back there but still be available for when you need a table.

When everyone gets together it would be great for morning coffee, pot lucks, beer party, whatever you want. You could also put brackets on the door if the wall will not work. I just keep thinking what Eleanor could do with this and some paint and sponges and that she liked the idea and was trying to figure out a way for her to still get her table but something that would not cause a storage problem.

good evening, HH, I could see constant moisture in one spot could cause damage, I wonder also how that would ride or if it would slide out, maybe something to store, I guess you would have to anyway, if you had a coffee maker on the counter. Another thought I wonder about those single coffee makers, Kerig (probably not spelled right) if they are made in a way to store or setup easily. Lynne, something to think about, I think I saw somewhere a table that would "plug in " to an RV and had an adapter to use outside also, If I could find the brackets that would work, I'll have to do a search. Good ideas, we are getting there, I will have to start doing this kind of stuff. Have a good nite all.

HH, great pics, the sink covers add alot of space, Eleanor says she has seen those coffee pots, I haven't, but I've drank ALOT of coffee.

My 2 cent's on the coffee pot? In the S&B, I had one from Sam's Club, I think (Cuisinart) brand, It ground the beans, and shot them into the basket, then brewed the best coffee, always very fresh, because of grinding the beans right when you want the coffee! It also did not have a burner to keep it warm, just a very insulated carafe, that kept the coffee very hot for 2/3 hours! It did not let the steam out, it had a one way, coffee in, valve at the top, and a flap that closed after you poured your cup! You could keep it in the sink when traveling, or make a shelve with a railing around the edge to keep it in place! Also, it did not have a very big footprint! Just a thought?

Terry, there are different types of the coffee makers. Pot can be put in a cabinet when traveling, bungie corded in place, velco, etc.

Good Morning Everyone, Wow, I have never seen so many coffee makers, checked some out last night on line. My coffee maker here at the S&B is the cheapest I think you can buy, brews alot of coffee a week and its a couple yrs old, when it don't work it goes and a new one comes in. My routine is brew a pot, shut it off and warm in the microwave after that. Rail, Thanks, with this bad knee lately I can't hardly move, say nuthing about running, Friday a trip to the knee doc, to see whats up. HH, Just so many choices, will have to research, I also have thought about building something in the garage area just for that kind of thing. Have a good day.

HH I have that very single cup coffee maker and I use it daily. I don't have time to sit around and drink a whole pot so it works great! Made my coffee on it this morning.

I have looked at several MHs that have the coffee maker mounted over the table and I did not see any damage to the cupboard it was attached to. I think the brew and then put in a thermos or microwave it would work great. One had attached Velcro sticky strips on the side then had a strip on non sticky Velcro to keep pot in place for driving.

Just need a coffee pot for sure. Good luck with the knee doc, it gets miserable especially in this weather.
