Hi Gordon, Thats the plan, right now I use a small 1500 watt and the 1000 watt work lights heat it. The goal is to complete the garage area, then the bedroom area, two areas that are easy (not much in the way of "things" to install). We should have the headlner material tomorrow. Darn snow storm delayed UPS, (they won't come up on my mountain) in bad weather. Light gray walls w/the same on the ceiling.

I got the part number from the Spartan this afternoon. It is the awning with the 2 scissor arms and it also has 2 side arms that you can install if you want, manually for added stability. It is also powered. Carefree part number 35096LHJVTM. I hope this helps you. The insulation looks great by the way.

Good Afternoon Frank, I have an Email out to the co to see if I can get some info on the awning, thanks so much for taking the time. I'm trying to get as much of the insulation up as I can so I cam move on to walls ect. Springs coming! , ( I know winter's not here yet).

np Terry, glad that I could be a small help. I wanted to get the info to you so if you needed to run extra circuit back there you could before you were finished with the insulation.

Good Morning All, Frank before we started talking about an awning for the rear I hadn't thought about putting an extra circuit back there. I will now. I am going to put some cords in the ceiling that I can access in case I need to pull more wiring later, I helped an electrician once that did that on a job.

Hi Terry;
IMO you can never have too many circuits.

When I changed the roof on the 5er I changed the one circuit in the main area from 1 to 3. They just had general lighting that was good but left lots to wish for when you wanted to do stuff. I have a circuit above the counter/prep area, one in the louge area and one over the eating area. I put in dimmable LED lights so we can alter the lighting to get the best effects.

Also installed separate reading lights in the bedroom. Lights over sink are separate from overhead. Installed a light in the closet (most important).

It may be over the top but sometimes I think that each light should have a separate switch. Probably over the top but I find that I think of these things after I have done something, closed it up and can not go back to fix it. My favorite saying seems to be "If I were to do it over I would not do it that way".

Hi Gordon, Janet's operation come out ok? I am approaching the wiring very slowly, I installed what I have and then me and Eleanor set and look and say what if? and I take notes. I have put the cabinets and sink area, bathroom walls ect. just in (temporary) to get an idea of how it's going to look, and where everything is going, (circuits ect.)

DW is painting the TH screens, what do you think? you can see thru them from the inside like they were never painted, but from the outside they show up. Right now maybe just the garage screens.

Wow, Eleanor what a fabulous job.
Terry, hope you remember it is a 12v circuit. Also you might want to run a 110v one for an air conditioner in the bedroom vent, just in case.

Frank, Eleanor says thanks! Yep I did remember, 12v for the awning power, 110v line in the bedroom vent, thats a good idea to at least run the line to give the option. I have also run a 12v line to all the vent openings, the bath will have a powered vent the garage area I am installing a fantastic vent w/a thermostat, (thanks Gordon for that one). The garage has both 12v LED and 110 LED lights, heavy on the 12v. also two 12v led load lights, all on their own switch, (also Gordon's suggestion) Guy's I love the ideas that everyone gives, I think it will make the TH more useable . (If I could only afford to use them all !).

Terry, I think this is what you said: you are putting 12v and 110v circuits to each vent opening. So you can put air conditioner wherever you want and or put 12v vent fans wherever. Looking great.

Good Morning All, Rail Thanks!, By the time this TH is done everyone will know what it looks like, so we'll be able to talk to all who watched and helped with the build . Ron, Yes I am going to run a 12 and 110 line to each vent opening, (three, garage, cabin and bedroom) just as an option, that way I can move or add an air conditioner, or put in a powered fan instead. If they are not used they won't be hooked up to power.
