We did, too! Just stop by the recyclers, grab empty milk jugs, fill with water, shoot, return!

They are awesome when hit with any expanding bullet out of a centerfire rifle.

Downright explosive--make a cloud of mist--with a hollow point or ballistic tip!

Sort of boring with a .22lr or FMJ handgun bullets.

Downright sleepy with FMJ .223 rounds. Poke a hole in both sides and the water drains out.

What does the gelatin do?

It makes it more dense, the bullets expand better

The subject was allowed in hopes it would go away but as usual it continues. I'd like to point out the rules you all agreed to when joining

John,
I want to congratulate you on a very tactful way to bring a rules violation to an end without ruffling any feathers. Just another example of what makes this such a great site, and also of the great job the moderators do.
Frank

Terry,

I am new to irv2 and found this string about three weeks ago and have read every post in it. My wife thinks I am crazy but I have truly enjoyed all of your pictures and the description of what you have done so far. I think I am probably more impatient than you are for your knee to fully heal so you can start working on the TH again!

Unfortunately I am about 10 years from retirement but if you ever make it to Texas I would love to meet up with you and see your handy work in person.
