I'm glad she is doing better. 2 weeks already? WOW!
Jay - a friend of ours suggested Tramadol. It is not a narcotic and does not form an addiction. It is suggested that it can form a dependency so care should be taken. Janet cannot take narcotics, they tried a bunch of different ones in the hospital and ended up with hydormophine. It worked for a while but she soon had some alergic reactions. Went back on the tramadol and is doing great.

Had a long discussion today and came to the conclusion that you should be able to get rid of most of the pain. If not the pain killers are not doing their job. If you are hurting the body is not healing as well as it should.

Talk to your doctor about getting the right stuff to let you have minimal pain. Your body will thank you for it, and you will be able to function at a better level.

Good Morning, Frank, thanks I only have 5 more to go! Jay, I agree with Gordon on this there is many options for pain control out there you may have to have your doc send you to a pain management center. Rain and cold here today 32* this am, yuck. Have a great day all.

Hi Frank, Getting #2 is like getting hens teeth, always going/doing something, (I don't know where he got that from?) we used to do archery, (I was a pro staff shooter) and he and I both have shot in the world championships, he was alot younger then, well he has started up again and is a staff shooter for a major bow co. and is starting to travel, so my chances are slim . I don't mind, could be alot worse things to be doing. Jay, hope they find something that works for ya. Catch all later.

Terry,
I know its a pain when you need a hand and there is no one around. You just have to figure out a way to do it yourself. of course safely.

Frank, yup most of what I've done so far was done by me alone, I actually don't mind, I like working alone, it gives me time to think about what and how I'm doing it.

Terry,
I understand that, I am the same way, but sometimes it is just easier if you have a spare hand.

Frank, that is true, what's that old saying? "many hands make light work" or something like that.

Terry,
Yeah, something like that. Well last golf game of the season today. we are all leaving next week. Not supposed to rain today, so I will do some caulking on the roof when I get home from golfing. Then we will see about doing something else.

Good morning all, Cross off another doc for six months this am, rained real hard here overnight, maybe get some of the dirt and sand off the roads up here so we can get the bikes out. Frank, I'll bet it'll be good to get on the road again, see some of the new things you have scheduled. HH, There you are , I missed your words of wisdom .

I've been down hard with type A flu. All I can think of is caught it at one of two stores using their pen to sign debit card purchases. On amoxicillin (sp?) for 10 days to get over it. A friend had gotten her flu shot & had gotten the same thing I did. Last week I would almost pass out from coughing bouts.
