Good Morning, Frank, Good luck on the brake unit and bleeding it, hope the new couple gets there to give you more time. smcox1, there was some talk about putting in a slide in the beginning, I actually have a complete slide mechanism, from the latest donor 5th wheel. Might be put into the next project . Need to go today and remove and build/install a new hitch on a Hotshot truck for a buddy's son, the original hitch is breaking off, kinda scary how some companies build these bodies.

Good Afternoon, Just got back, built a new hitch for the Hotshot truck and installed same. I can't believe what some guys build thinking it'll hold up . Wind here has been gusting up to 50mph so nothing is getting done outside today! Yesterday was my yearly check up on my replacement knees, Doc. says everything looks great good for another year

Dang, Terry! Been a year already? Glad you got a for another year! Wow, 50 mph gusts? It is rarely windy here, and I forgot about fighting the winds when I was driving! I remember it sucking the fuel right out of the tanks, it seemed! Rail!

Good Morning, Rail, time flies! All I can say is I'm glad it's done and over. We had high winds for over 36 hrs. crazy, alls good now. Except we are going into the high 50's maybe low 60's for two days then low 30's for like three days. Gotta love the spring in the great northeast. Thursday Am we get the Tot'r's heavy truck inspection then go get the TH out of storage, figured it would get cold .

MK, Gordon, Thanks, Putting together a cardboard template for the sunviser, still working out designs and mounts, will be made out of aluminum and then have to be polished, (maybe I can get Bap to do it, he's pretty good at it) . Can't get too involved building today as we will need the Tot'r tomorrow.

Terry , you can save a lot of work if you just put a few coats of Krylon on that cardboard and mount it with Gorilla Ducttape!!!
Naaaaaaaaahhhhhh!

Popeye - you are the master of innovation. If you would have said duct tape you could have got a contract with 3M and perhaps been another Red Green

Darn nice Harley 1944

Just ran into this thread, sure looks great from picture's. I am mixed up with helping my brother get his national tradewind fixed up. Sure know about rotted flooring PO
had custom built a shower and then didn't seal it properly so floor under it and back bit in bedroom had rotted out. Not been a easy job right now he has it in Washington as has medical appointments up there @ the VA it's cheaper to stay in coach then rent room buy food ect. Still have few things to fix like right now he is trying to replace the ball valve on the porcelain god (the head) figures will put a shutoff valve on line in head incase it happens again. Wish the PO had taken 1/2 the effort you have done on that 5th wheel!
