TV Upggrade

I have a 1998 fleetwood American Dream. I am wanting to upgrade the tv's.
Does anyone have any suggestion on a good way to do this so it does not look all rigged up.
thanks

I can't see the rest of your Mh, but if you can move the new tv somewhere else, like above current location. Then make the old location a storage area by adding doors over opening.

If you just want a flat screen at current location. Can cut plywood the size of the opening, cut a hole around the center of the wood for wires then cover it with vinyl to match dash. Attach it securely, use a tv mounting bracket for tv, and your done.

Yeah speedman42 as soon as you figure a solution let me know. I was wanting to do the same. The bedroom is pretty easy to do but the front one is a little tricky if leave it in the same location with the "Elevating Cabinet". I think it would be a major reconstruction to locate one overhead.

Our solution for TV replacement

Removed our old tube TV from dash and made and installed a three drawer oak cabinet in its place. We installed a new 42" LCD tv above Co-Pilot seat using a swing mount that allows it to swing out for viewing or back against wall for travel. I installed a strap with a clasp that prevents it from swinging out when driving. On our motorhome all the attenna and dvd/sat connections were in the top cupboard above co-pilot seat so connections were fairly easy.
We are sure finding the drawers very handy also. Hope this helps.

I am going to look into mounting a flatscreen in the same mount that the tv in the lift cabinet is in. I will let you know how it goes. It may be a little bit. I am taking it in the morning to drop it off to have the brakes all checked out. They seem fine but I just want to be sure.
I will give a progress report.
