Unidentified gauge
Okay, it's an '89 diesel Turbo pusher. I have a gauge I can't identify. I have my normal air gauge for my air brakes, but then I also have a 0-150 PSI gauge. It's electric, not mechanical. It doesn't move under any circumstance. Suggestions as to what it may be for? Perhaps air bag pressure? Runs too high to be Turbo boost.

What chassis do you have? A picture of the gauge and the dash might help.

Unidentified gauge
The chassis is a Gillig. The gauge is the second from the right.

Air up the coach and press brake pedal see if it moves.

No, I said that's not the brakes. The brake gauge is the third from the left.

Timberwolf, that is a brake application gauge, so you know how much #'s per sq. inch pressure you are putting on the brakes when descending a hill/mountain! Air up your system, release your parking brake, step on the pedal, and the gauge should tell you how many #'s pressure you are applying to the brakes! Rail!

IT should be a brake application gauge. Shows how much pressure is being applied to the brakes.
The gauge from the left is primary and secondary tanks. Air pressure.Tital pressure available in both tanks.

If you fellows think it is an application gauge then I will check it today, I have to work on the alternator anyway. I have to admit, when my foot's on the brake it's usually because my eyes are focused elsewhere. I'll try it and let you know this evening.

Not a Brake Gauge
Well, the gauge is definitely not related to the brakes. It does not move, brakes applied, parking brake on/off. My next line of troubleshooting will be to trace down all my airbag lines to see if there is an electric sender in there somewhere that's either bad, or leads to nowhere. This model was totally computerized when new. Most of that is gone now, and I'm trying to reconstruct/rejuvenate the old girl. There may have been a front bag/rear bag computer switch for setting the bag air and the person doing the conversion may not have known how to do it, so just left it dead since the bags work.

Is anyone familiar with any coaches having adjustable air bag suspension with pressure gauges, before I set off on what may turn out to be a wild goose chase?

Take the line off the back and try the brake again. If the gauge is bad you will at least know it. If fluid comes out it is not air of course

Look for a sensor on or near the treadle valve, it is most certainly a application gauge! I have never seen a air bag gauge in all of the trucks and MH's I have driven over the years!
Unless, this is a gas MH with the helper bags in the front springs?
More info would help, for sure!

Already been to Google and Bing, the only things they come up with are units for sale.
I can't recall any application gauges on any of the drop axle or trailer dumps that I've driven. Maybe we just drove different models. If the rain lets up I'll check by the treadle though.
The gauge is all electric. If it had a line to it I would already have pulled it to see when and what came out. As I said earlier it's a diesel pusher. But, I'll double check the gauge again tomorrow. It's raining down here now and supposed to tomorrow also, so outside projects are on hold.
Thanks for all the suggestions though.
Anybody have a vac/boost gauge laying around that they're not using?

put a voltmeter across it and hit the brakes.
If it does not move, remove 1 wire and put the meter in the ohm scale or diode checking position. touch the terminals to see if the needle works.
Slso see if there are any mfgr stamps.
