Update on roof a/c

I have not riveted the roof shroud back on thinking that when it gets warmer, I'll be removing the fan motor & installing a new motor. The motor home sits next to my driveway at our house so I'm doing stuff to it all the time. I have turned the fan on at least 15 times in the last several days & the motor comes on every time.
I hate the thought of going to the trouble to remove the motor since it's been working every time but---I don't want it to quit when it's hotter than hell & I need the a/c. I'll continue to see if it keeps working but I think, to prevent problems, my best bet is to replace the motor.

Rather than starting a new thread on your updates.. you should update the very same thread you started this in.. people may be subscribed to it for updates and they'll never get notified of any new posts if you post on this one. Just my $0.02 cents worth. :-)
