Question Upholstery spray paint anyone?

Has anyone tried the new Spray paint for upholstery? I did a search and found a few places online that sell it for around $11.00 a bottle or a pack of six for $59.94 - such as www.sunshinejoy.com. We're thinking of using it to cover some old, ugly upholstery in our daughter and son-in-law's 1987 Ford Econoline Crossman. The fabric is in good shape - just a weird brownish/beige with flowers. We thought it'd be an easy solution. We'd love to hear from someone who's tried it - anyone??

I painted the side curtains for our 53 MG-TD about three years ago and it's held up well. We don't sit on it or anything but I can't rub anything off with my hands.
Bought this product at Michael's.
