Used up my monthly allotment of questions?

If I haven't used up my monthly allotment of questions, I have another.

My new surburan water heater arrived today. Installion looks simple enough. However, the new unit is encased in styrofoam with webbed straps holding the insulation on. The old unit didn't have styrofoam around it.

Do I remove the styrofoam? I have read the instructions and it doesn't say to remove it. The unit will fix in the compartment with the foam in place

Thanks,

Terry

Don't remove the styrofoam, it's there to contain the heated water.

Don't remove the styrofoam as it is insulation and the water will stay hot longer.
