If you own a class "C" motorhome 1990 or earlier, please post a picture, like to try and plan a rally for these old class "C" motorhomes. If you are interested send a reply.

Nice rig Doug, wow it seems that you and I are the only ones interested in getting a rally going for our old RV's. I was hoping that we would have a much larger response.

Where is that Vintage (1990 or earlier) Class C pride, step up and show your rig. Lets create a site for Old Time RV's.

Hi Guys,
First post.
We bought our 2nd RV a few weeks back. It's an '89 Coachmen Leprechaun. It's got some issues, that I've been working on for two weeks. So, I guess it's got a lot less issues.
We had a '90 something Coachmen class A, that was 36 feet long. Bought it to drive out to California, to visit with my Father-in-law, and his girlfriend. We bought it, spent three months fixing all the problems, while watching the gas prices go through the roof. My father-in-law got sick, and we never spent our first night in it. Swapped it for a Mercedes suv.
Hopefully, we'll actually get to use this one.
Since it falls in the parameters, I guess I got an oldie.
I think it's 26 feet. Has a Ford 350 chassis with a 460. Has 36000 miles on the clock. I just finished fixing the step well, today. You could step on the extendable step, and have it flex downward, about 3". After I tore into it, I found out that the wood, in the step well was rotten. One of the carriage bolts was severely rusted, and the head was almost non-existent. In other words, the step was about to dump one of us, on the ground. Glad I went back and fixed it.
Every time I start working on these vehicles, though, I am amazed, at how chintzy some stuff is built. New,these cost an arm and a leg, of someone's hard earned cash. Put some quality into it.
Ok. So I thought it would be good if the grandkids could see the step.

'79 Mitchell Super Coach Class C

Howdy, here are a few pics of our '79 25' Mitchell Class C on a Ford E350 with 460. It's all original with 44K miles. I've been refurbishing it as it was neglected and needed some TLC. I'm keeping it as original as possible. For whatever reason it will only let me upload 1 picture at a time.

For some reason I get frustrated by that POS Captcha anti-robot software when I try to post photos. Now I post the text first and then post my photos using the edit function. A PITA but its the one way I've found to do it without being harassed by Captcha!

We have a 1990 Coachman Leprechaun. I had hoped to be painting the interior at this time but found some water damage when I started removing wall paper. We paid $2000 for it. The furniture and cabinetry are in great condition. We planned on spending some money painting walls and replacing floors. Hopefully the water damage is minimal. Also have to repair the cab overhead. I'm hoping to gather info on how to do things on here. Someone said there is a total redo thread somewhere, haven't found it yet.
Maybe the reason more haven't responded on this thread is because they are all busy working on their RVs. Lol
Maybe we'll be ready for a rally next year. 😝
