Congratulations on your new trailer and it's partner.
I went more modern... I sold my 1953 Silver Streak Clipper, and now I have a lovely all original 1965 Hi-Lo. As they didn't have roof airs back then, it has a removable window unit, that just fits in the back window. Looking forward to taking it to a TX State Park on Thurs. Happy Trails, Penny, TX

Penny, we look forward to meeting y'all since you are so close.

Did you ever make it to any of the local SS rallies?

Hello Ken, I used to go to Airstream Rallies, but I never went to a Silver Streak one.
I haven't been RVing for a long time, since I lost two of my crew members, my husband, and my little dog. Both to cancer. There is just an old cat, and me, now. "Bobcat" (Manx) is a seasoned deck hand, she has been to 8 states, so we will try to go RVing more often.
I looked at the TX Boomers when I first joined Irv2 in 2005, but they seem to stay in a lot of "resorts", and line up like sardines in the sun. I have eyes that are as old as I am,(a great grandma), and I can't take the bright sun light, so I was waiting till you went to a shady, or I had better say, shaded State Park or somewhere like that. My maiden voyage is to Pedigo Park, Livingston, TX. It isn't too far from me, as I live on Lake Conroe. Penny, TX

Well our maiden voyage was to the TX/OK rally and we are home....one new A/C and 4 new tires later. I have decided that a gasser is not much for pulling a load and I'm going back to my diesel even if it is a dually. Real truck don't have spark plugs.

Beautiful trailer. Thank you for posting the pictures, I have never seen the interior of a Silver Streak. They are rare in Nevada. In the last 10 years I can say we have only seen 1 while on the road.

The front area had a fold out sofa, but it was removed and the chairs added. Frees up some space.

That is my wife and Mother in law setting in the front.

Well progress is being made. I got the Reese Straight Line HP hitch installed, new H.P. propane hose, regulator, transfer valve, bottle hoses all installed, repacked wheel bearings, replaced bathroom sink and faucet and replaced the power converter, rewired the 12 volt power supply, replaced the batteries and primed and painted all of the exposed steel on the frame.

Now I'm ready to go camping and look forward to the trip to National in Branson.
