I have now just noticed that this is not the original plug. Is it possable to go back to original plug on end? Then if I can what exstensuin should be used to plug in house?

Could it be that a 30A end was removed and replaced with this 20A one? That would explain the severe burning. What a fire hazard! I assume your question is if you can put a 30A end on this cable. Yes, you can. You have to make sure the wire guage is correct for the amperage. My advice: Trash this one and go buy a proper power lead for youe application.

I would check the main breaker in the coach. If it's not a 30A breaker then there is no point putting a 30 amp connector on the cord.

I would replace the connector with the appropriate 30 amp connector and check the main breaker and make certain it is no larger then 30 amp.

If need be, you can buy a 30ft extension cable from Walmart then cut off the female end and wire it in (Walmart.com: Road Power 30-Amp RV Extension Cord, 30': Computers). If your rig has a detachable cable then you don't have to modify it.
If you have the standard cable with just an incorrect plug then you can just buy the plug end at Lowes:

You then can purchase a 30 amp to 15 amp adaptor simular to this:

Even Walmart carries a few different styles of 30 to 15 amp adaptors in their RV display in Automotive section (Walmart.com: Road Power 30/15-Amp RV Power Adapter Cord: Computers)

Yes it is a 30 amp service in the coach. I have only pluged it in a few times and just now noticed the burning on the end. Thank you all for your advice as I will replace the end asap
